Grim Reminder

(Y/n's pov)
After another recon of the city to make sure it was safe Chat and I, decided to relax and enjoy the beautiful day at the top of the Eiffel tower where no one could see us. Chat noticed the pleasent smile on my face and snickered at me which immediately got my attention.

"I know that look, someone's in love~", the black cat teased.

I sighed before letting out a snicker of my own, my tail lazily slapped him in his face irritating him. He glared at me before continuing his observation, "So you crushing on someone or..."

"I'm in a relationship. I've gotten farther than you have in the past year in just three little months.", I giggled watching Chat's face scrunch up in distaste at my comment.

Chat smiled and looked out over Paris with me before prodding at me with a completely different topic, "So...do you really want to kill Hawkmoth and Mayura? Or do you just want to turn them in?", The question made my breath catch in the back of my throat, Chat was unsure of what to say next but he knew he had his answer by the look in my eyes.

I was as unsure as he was, did my journey for revenge end now that I found something to live for? Or do I put an end to everything and bring the world of Kwamis and heroes crashing down? It was a tough decision to decide on but with what little time I have left I just had to bring Justice for all the people those two super Villains have hurt.

"You know...I lost my mom to.", Chat added staring off at Paris as a cool breeze danced through our hair, "So I kinda know what it's like to feel alone with no one there by your side."

I gave him a sympathetic smile while I ruffled his surprisingly soft blonde hair, "I guess we have a lot more in common than we think huh?"

"Pfft yeah I guess.", Chat snickered getting up as his ring started to beep, "Well that's my cue, goodbye for now Cubby!"

"Goodbye KitKat I'll see you later.", I giggled watching him disappear in the blink of an eye.

I waited for him to leave properly before getting up and leaning against the railing of the Eiffel tower, "Ginn, end the hunt.", I sighed turning back to normal as I watched over my new home.

The question still bothered me, now that I was happy...would I sacrafice my happiness to get my revenge or would I live my life until my premature death? Ginn sensed my inner struggle and gently patted my cheek before kissing my cheek sweetly.

"Whatever you choose Master, I will gladly follow.", He sighed.

"Ginn."

"Yes Master?"

"I've decided on something, I'm gonna help Ladybug bring down Hawkmoth and purify Nooro and Duusu before I have to depart from this world. That way at least they can finally go home safe and sound.", I smiled standing tall ready to face the future that was upon me.

My phone vibrated in my pocket which was strange considering no one had my number...until I realized that it was Luka. I couldn't help but smile as I answered to his daily updates. He always wanted to make sure that I wasn't getting into trouble or ranting to me about something at band practice, today was one of his rant days. My feet continued to move down to the city streets but I had a feeling I was being watched so I kept my senses on high alert while I listened to Luka. Behind me was a black car, average size, obviously only meant to hold five people, I'm guessing one of those seats was for me.

"And then Ivan almost broke my guitar can you believe that?", Luka whined snapping me out of my serious trance.

"Luka you literally have no luck, if it wasn't because you're cute I'm not so sure I would've said yes to you the other day.", I teased recieving a whine from him as a response.

Just as I was about to cross the street the black car sped in front of me, the back right door opened up for me as the passager window rolled down revealing this strange Secretary lady.

"Ms. (Y/n) correct?", She inquired.

"I've gotta call you back, see ya.", I sighed hanging up my call, my hands filled my pockets as I glared at the woman, "Don't you have some paperwork to organize or something?"

"Charming, get in we need to have a talk.", She smiled turning to stare straight ahead as she waited for me to get in the car.

Inside I noticed that strange underclassmen from before, Lila Rossi. She scoffed at me and stared angrily out the window while I took my seat next to her only the empty middle seat between us offering her any protection from me. The moment I closed the door it was locked and the car began moving.

"Now Ms. (F/n)-"

"It's (F/n), nothing else.", I growled earning a glare from the woman in the rear view mirror.

"Alright then (F/n), I understand that you are a bit of a delinquent at school. I'm sad to say that we can't have that, Lila watches you diligently for us and reports any odd behavior you have with anyone at school."

"Get to the point four eyes.", I growled staring out the window to play off the delinquent bit.

"Do you like endangering innocent civilians? Because since your "transfer" it's been documented that you've been the main cause of several akumatizations and we can't have you endangering our students.", The woman growled.

"Your students or just Adrien? Believe me I know full well who you are and thanks for telling me about my personal stalker here. If you just have me in here to try and scare me than try again with the next idiot, Hawkmoth scares me more than you to do.", I growled unlocking the door since I decided to get out at the next light.

"You think this is a joke huh? You think you can go around endangering my Adrien thinking I'd let you get away with that? Think again tramp! I'll destroy your life little by little and I'll smile every step of the way.", Lila hissed pointing her finger at me.

I glared at her hand and lazily licked it much to her dissatisfaction, she screamed in disgust as she tried wiping away my saliva and I could only laugh.

"Look personally I don't give a rats ass about anything you're saying so thanks for the ride I guess but I don't care about you or the fashion model boy scout. Find someone that's actually intimidated cuz guess what doll it's not me.", I giggled leaning forward and breaking the lady's glasses right in front of her face before getting out of the car. She called my name for a moment but I ignored her as I continued walking with a cheerful smile on my face. She smelt like evil, obviously she was an ally of Hawkmoth's but I knew that from the brooch on her shirt.

"So the Peacock miraculous is killing its owner just like mine, how sad.", I chuckled hearing the paint bomb explode in the car behind me.

Hearing that Lila girl scream in disgust was pretty enjoyable, so Hawkmoth doesn't like me messing around with the Adrien kid? Guess I better start paying more attention to him, "You do realize that woman was Mayura right?", Ginn growled emerging from my hood.

"Yeah I know and Hawkmoth is using Lila to manipulate innocent students at school to akumatize them. Just a rude reminder that I can't trust anyone at school.", I sighed holding my shaking arm as black claws started growing from my nails.

My deterioration was getting worse with every passing day but now I have clues to finding Hawkmoth and from the looks of it he hasn't pieced it together that I'm Howl. I'd find him...if it's the last thing I do I'll find him and free his kwami from the suffering he's placed it under. I'll avenge you Mom but this time no more blood will be shed.
