A bright sunny day in Monstadt. Perfect for laundry. Noelle the maid is busy washing clothes in the back garden.

People who dislike her called her Barbarian Maid behind her back. Her fault is just one.

Too OP.

She's very diligent person. Making Jean often scolds Knights for slacking off. Comparing them to Maid Noelle.

Monstadt streets are crowded as usual.

Children are running around, playing with their friends.

Kaeya chuckles while patrolling city. It's another quiet day in Monstadt.

His long legs carry him to Angel share. Today the bar isn't open for business. He knows he could find Diluc here.

It's a special day for both of them. Diluc's father's death day.

The red haired guy is mixing cocktail. He makes a new drink every year and presents it to his father's grave.

It's like a child asking for a praise.

Diluc ignores Kaeya as usual. He is busy mixing drinks. He has lined up three glasses on bar counter. Only the best result shall be chosen.

Kaeya stares him as if wanting to remember him. Every details of his ex-lover. He never stops loving him.

Diluc feels irritated. This guy is born to torture him.

He asks coldly, "Need something?"

"Nothing. Just wanna say goodbye."

Diluc only snorts. He is as grumpy as ever. No other response from him.

One broody handsome Tycoon. That's how the locals describe him.

Kaeya doesn't expect a sweet goodbye from him. It ain't Diluc's style.

He only says, "Live well. For my sake too."

Diluc ignores him.

After they broke up, Kaeya used many methods to win his heart back. From a sweet marriage proposal to gangster like intimidation.

He stops shaking the mixer. He shakes his head.

Maybe he shouldn't blame Kaeya for arriving late to crime scene. Maybe he should have forgiven him a long time ago.

Alas!

If Kaeya was stronger, he believed they could have saved his father from his early doom. Incompetent Kaeya.

He just can't forgive him. For being weak.

Kaeya leaves without turning back again.

Peace and quiet at last.

Diluc keeps preparing his new cocktails.

A knock on the door half an hour later.

Diluc curses in his heart. He knows the guy is acting again. Probably another trick to win back his heart. He just doesn't know when to give up.

The door is open. It's Jean, not Kaeya.

Diluc raises his eyebrows. Everyone in Monstadt knows his Bar always closes on this date. No one would bother him if it isn't important.

Jean asks, "Have you seen Kaeya?"

"He's gone."

"Is he really leaving Monstadt for good?"

Diluc hands form into fists intuitively.

He asks, "What do you mean?"

Jean shows a resignation letter to him.
