Author’s POV;-

The mansion is dead silent for a week now as if it is mourning for someone’s death , Y/n had lost herself in this maze of lies overshadowing the truth. She rarely gets out of her room and Jungkook’s eyes are helpless watching her this way. She rarely comes out and has food , she doesn’t cry anymore but her silence is showing her emotions.

Jungkook has no idea how to approach her,  the trio are feeded by the mafia himself. Jeongsan is not bothered by the fact Y/n is not picking up calls , it’s a rare thing she misses the calls still his greed is more powerful than her emotions.

Y/n POV;-

It’s been a week , the moon is taking over the sun and the cycle continues. Being a teenager I always believed in not being vulnerable while loving others so that the thorns beneath the roses couldn’t harm you and I did it. I hurted myself in the process of loving him. 

Thinking of him , I have to give him a big lesson to play with me like this and why would I waste my life and tears on a cheater like him . It was a lesson fate gave me so I should be happy that I got to know his real intentions. I am lucky that I knew things sooner than being married to a jerk like him , there is no use of flowing tears and being sad. 

How long will I be sad like this? Someday I have to move on. I don’t want my future self to look back and see herself wasting herself on others.  Instead I should have a positive mindset and lead my life the way I want. This is wasting my time , nothing could change but it will lead me to make myself change. Let’s start a new journey. 

Tilting my head I stood up nearing the window , I took a deep breath. I am feeling really hungry , hopping downstairs I went towards Ms.Choi. My eyes popped up watching Jungkook making something , nearing towards him I clinged on his shoulder , peeking inside the bowl. 

Ohh. He kept his hand on his heart, probably being scared. I scared the mafia leader. His expression looked so hilarious , I couldn’t help but to laugh hard. Coming nearing me he put his hand on my head. Y/n are you okay? I am totally good . I said in my defence.

Jungkook POV;-

Y/n loves to eat pasta , maybe if I will prepare and insist on eating it she could eat something. Grabbing the essentials I started preparing dinner , someone clinged on my hand and it scared me. Turning around I saw her , my eyes popped out watching her figure . Am I hallucinating but the next thing she did made me more surprised? She was giggling , I loved her this way but watching her acting totally different after a week  made me worry. 

Nearing toward her figure , I checked her. What if she is going insane because of this jerk? You must be thinking why I am acting like a completely different person after these days of silence. I nodded my head.

 Being alone I thought a lot and at one point these things were useless. Right now , I could cry for him but my future self will always pity me for this. His intentions were always wrong since the start of our relationship , I should have cried when my love for him was not enough. I tried my best but he was blinded by his property greed.

 He will fake things till our marriage. Maybe he will change into a completely different person after marriage. Maybe I would have never known his intentions if you guys weren’t with me. So I decided to cherish the good people and discard the ones in the dustbin . I thought she would not be able to cope up with this information but in this one week she stood again as my Y/n. Her soul changes so quickly and she always has a positive mindset , these were always beyond my imagination.

 Deep down she is hurt and time will heal her but overall she is balanced and I am happy that I didn’t lose her real self. I am proud of you. I said ruffling her hair , blocking her hair as she stood back. Ahh Jungkook, don't touch my hair. By the way I am smelling something delicious, I am really hungry. I did enough diet for this week and I need food now. I am making pasta.
