AMELIA'S POV

AJ and Eli are chatting up a storm with my Mom about how I was as a kid, Andrew is eavesdropping on that conversation to find something to embarrass me and y/n about. Y/n and Carina are being kinda gross. I say that, me and Arizona were like that before we had the kids and stuff.

- Lizzie : So, Amelia. Where's the fiancé?

- Amelia : Oh er-

- Eli : Mommy and Mama had an argument about Auntie y/n/n so Mama stayed at home. She said Auntie y/n/n spent too much time with Mommy

- Amelia : Thank you Eli for that very in depth story

- Eli : Your welcome Mommy

- AJ : That was sarcasm you twit

- Amelia : Y/n. What happened when you babysat AJ because he was ill?

- y/n : AJ I told you not to sound like a carbon copy of me

Wow. My son is calling people 'twits' and picking up on sarcasm. How lovely.

- Lizzie : So, y/n/n, Carina, when's the wedding?

- y/n : Huh?

- Carina : I'm not sure if marriage is the path for us. It's an outdated idea

- Carolyn : Oh wow. Y/n has always dreamt of her wedding. In navy blue because she refuses to be one of those stereotypes. Kids are only at the reception unless their nieces and nephews because it means kids don't have to sit through a ceremony. You really talked her into giving up her dream. Congratulations

Fuck. Shit. I know y/n and Carina had talked about marriage but Carina had always said it jokingly, like she was never really serious about it. Y/n spent years trying to perfect what she wanted for her wedding. I mean in her plan she's supposed to be married and have 2 kids by now but like getting married was ALWAYS in the plans.

- Carina : Oh really?

- y/n : Mhm. Oh wow. Can you smell that? I'll change Bells. Come on bubs. Time for a change

- Andrew : Is she-

- Lizzie : I'll go

- Amelia : Right behind you

I can't tell if y/n is willing to change her plans for Carina or genuinely didn't know Carina was joking around.

YOUR POV

I genuinely thought getting married was in Carina's plans. I guess not. This changes a lot though.

- y/n : Your so smelly. Your so smelly Bells. What would your dad say if he saw this mess. He's probably call Auntie y/n/n to come clean it up wouldn't he. Leggies up, come on. There we go. Eww yucky nappy

- Lizzie : Hey

- y/n : Sup

- Amelia : How are you?

- y/n : Is this an intervention? I feel like I've been through this before

- Lizzie : Did you know Carina doesn't want to get married?

- y/n : She always laughed and joked about when we were talking about it but I though she just felt like it was too soon

- Amelia : Let me change Bells. Stinky baby. That's right. Stinky baby

Ah now to get the Lizzie lecture.

- Lizzie : You know she might not be the one y/n/n. You've always wanted to get married, why settle for someone who doesn't want what you have spent your whole life searching for. Maybe she's not the one y/n/n

- y/n : But I love her Lizzie. I'd do anything for her. If getting to spend my life with her means giving up my dream then so be it

- Lizzie : I don't want you to get hurt but I'll be here if you need me. I might even come visit you in Seattle

- y/n : Oh I'm off to LA next week. My mental health hasn't been great and I've been really attached to Amy so I'm going to spend time with Addie and Charlotte

- Lizzie : That's good. I should text Addie, see how she's doing.

Does Carina seriously not want to get married? She always talked about it if it was bought up but I guess it was just a joke? Why didn't Andrew tell me? I'm confused and lost anddddd I can't wait to go to LA.

- Carolyn : Who wants desert?

- AJ : Ice-cream?

- Carolyn : We have ice-cream, crumble, pie. Pick your poison

- Eli : Poison?

- Amelia : It's an expression baby. The boys'll have ice-cream. I'll have whatever everyone else is having

- Lizzie : Pie?

- Andrew : Yeah I think we'll all have pie

- Carina : Can I talk to you bella?

- y/n : I've got to call Addie, see when she's expecting me

- Carina : But-

- y/n : Just give me a minute. Jeez

I need to get to LA like yesterday. I just need to get away from this situation and take time for me. Time for me with my closest friends.
