The baby's mother was supposed to have a c-section on Sunday. Well, she's gone into labour and they're doing an emergency c-section now. Me and Bells are sat in the waiting room to hear from the OR.

- Isabella : Is he nearly here yet?

- y/n : Maybe. I'm not sure. When you see Carina then he's here

- Isabella : Okay

- Bailey : Hey. What are you guys doing here?

- Isabella : We're getting a baby brother today

- Bailey : Ohh okay. I thought that was on Sunday

- y/n : The mother went into labour so here we are. Carina's in there doing the delivery

- Isabella : Mom look. It's Carina

- Carina : Hey. He's in the nursery

Looks like we're off to the nursery. Oh look. There's Bianca. Lovely. She's great but talks forever.

- Bianca : Y/nnn, Isabelll-

- Isabella : It's Isabella.

- Bianca : Oopsies. Sorry about that. Look there's the little boy. The birth mother doesn't have a name preference so that's down to you. You've signed the e-forms so there's none of that, you'll just be waiting on a doctor to send you home

- y/n : Thank you

- Bianca : No problem love

She's flirting. I'm uncomfortable. I just want to see the baby. Carina's shifting on each foot so I guess she's uncomfortable too.

- Isabella : He's really small

- y/n : He is. You were even smaller

- Isabella : I was?

- y/n : Yeah. I'll show you some photos when we get home

- Isabella : When does he get to come home?

- Carina : He's perfectly healthy. We can send him home later tonight

- y/n : Now it's just time to think of a name for this little man

I already know what I want to call him but I want Carina's and Isabella's help too.

- y/n : I want to name him after Andrew

- Isabella : After Dad?

- y/n : Yeah. Is that okay?

- Isabella : Yeah

- y/n : Carina?

- Carina : Name him after your brother too

- y/n : Andrea Derek Shepherd?

- Isabella : Andy

Andy. Even if he doesn't get to stay with us then he'll always have Andrew's and Derek's name with him, not that he knows who they are. We'll tell him when he grows up if he's still part of our family.

- y/n : Can we hold him?

- Carina : I'll go get him

- Isabella : I love him

- y/n : Me too bug

- Isabella : I hope he gets to stay with us forever

- Carina : Here he is

He's small, not as small as Bells was but I forgot how small babies were. Not like forgot because I see babies is often but I forgot how small they were when you're holding them so close to you.

- Amelia : Hello. Let me see the baby

- y/n : He's asleep. Be careful

- Amelia : Aww. He's almost as cute as Ryan was

- y/n : He's perfect

- Amelia : Can I hold?

- y/n : Wash your hands, then you can hold him

Andrea. Baby Andrea. I've known him for a matter of hours and yet I want him in my life and as my son forever. He's my little boy. He was made to be my little boy just like how Isabella was made to be mine and Andrew's little girl, just not at the same time.

- Amelia : Oh y/n

- y/n : He's adorable

- Amelia : He has a name?

- y/n : Andrea Derek Shepherd

- Amelia : Hello Andy. I'm Auntie Amelia

- Isabella : He's cute, isn't he Auntie Amy?

- Amelia : Very cute

He's going to be spoilt. Amelia and Arizona aren't going to have anymore kids so this will be the youngest cousin, I don't think I will have more kids, Carina probably won't. Lizzie won't, Meredith won't. He's going to be spoilt as the youngest cousin and probably the youngest grandchild. My Mom will spoil him too. She spoils Bells so she'll spoil Andy.

- Amelia : Does Mom know?

- y/n : Yeah. She's trying to find a time when she can fly over for a week.

- Amelia : Lizzie knows?

- y/n : Yep. She's coming with Mom and she's bringing the kids

- Amelia : It'll be great for all the kids to mingle. The boys are getting a little old to hang out with the girls

- y/n : They had fun a couple of weeks ago. We the water guns.

- Amelia : How's that bruise by the way?

- y/n : You're so funny. Not as bad as it was. I can sit down without pain for the most part

- Amelia : Good thing it was you and not me. I'm old

- Isabella : Super old

- Amelia : Stop being cheeky missy

I love my family. Amy, Arizona and the kids. Meredith and her kids. Most of all I love Isabella, Andrea and my Carina. My three greatest loves. My son, my daughter and the girl I fell in love with over a decade ago.

- Carina : He's cleared to go home when you're ready. We're both doctors, he's in good hands

- y/n : Are you ready to go home Bells?

- Isabella : Super ready
