YOUR POV

It's been 2555 days since I last checked in and things have changed. Carina, never came back. Didn't answer my calls or texts. Isabella, grew up. Baby isn't such a baby and is almost 9 now. Ryan is recently 7 and the twins are 13 and doing their own thing. It's kind of great. I'm also doing what Carina said, raising Isabella as my own. Like she knows about Andrew but I call her my daughter and she calls me mom.

- Isabella : Mom? Can you help with this homework?

- y/n : Yeah. What's up?

- Isabella : It's a family tree

- y/n : Oh shit

- Isabella : Mom!

- y/n : Okay put me as mom, Andrew Deluca as dad and then I can help you fill in my side of the family but the other side will rely on your googling skills

- Isabella : Ugh okay. Come on Loki. Let's go google the Deluca's

- y/n : Stay off YouTube. Your cousins will be over in a minute and we don't need Ryan get sucked into the online world

It happened once. Ryan got on the computer and when Amelia picked her up to take her home she had a HUGE meltdown.

- Ryan : Auntie Y/n/n

- y/n : There's my favourite 7 year old. How's school?

- Ryan : Good

- y/n : Where's your mom?

- Amelia : I'm here. Eli is having a strop because I won't let him out to see friends but I let AJ out

- Eli : It's not fair

- Amelia : And when you tidy your room when I ask, I'll let you go out

- y/n : Busy morning?

- Amelia : Yep

- y/n : Want a drink?

- Amelia : Would kill for one

- y/n : Come on Rayn. Let's making your mom a tea

Ryan knows how to make tea the way Amelia likes it however we don't trust her with the boiling water alone yet so I pour it and she does the rest of it. Well we don't let her carry it incase she spills it but she still did a lot of it.

- Ryan : Here you go mommy

- Amelia : Thank you Ryan. Where's Bells?

- y/n : Googling her dad's side of the family

- Amelia : BELLS?

- Isabella : Auntie Amyyyy

- y/n : How come she's allowed a hug but I'm not?

- Isabella : Ugh

- Amelia : You've got a mini teenager. Won't be long until she's out kissing boys or girls and at parties

- Isabella : Bogs have germs

- y/n : That they do Bells. As long as you always believe that you'll be okay and you won't drive me insane

Do I want Bells to grow up? Of course not. I want her to stay small and innocent. Stay as my little Isabella.

- Isabella : Can we go on a walk?

- Amelia : Come in kids. We're going on a walk. Grab your jackets

- Eli : Ughh

- Ryan : Do I have to mommy?

- Amelia : Yes you do

- Ryan : I wish mama took me to work today

The kids make me laugh. Bells loves being outside but that's the total opposite to Amy's kids. They hate walks and hikes and camping. It's funny when we do the annual camping trip. Even my mom got involved last year and enjoyed it more the Eli. He hates it the most.

I know Carina stalks my Instagram. She still likes the photos I post but doesn't answer then texts. I send her one every year on Isabella's birthday. Just an update about the whole year, asking how she's doing but I get left on seen.

- Isabella : Mom? When will I get to meet Auntie Carina?

- y/n : Bells I text her about you on every single one of your birthdays but she never answers me

- Isabella : Maybe I remind her too much of my dad. I know I wasn't his biological kid but maybe I was too closely related to him and it hurts her

- y/n : When did you get so smart?

- Amelia : Around age 5, when she asked for an encyclopaedia for christmas

- Ryan : MOMMY, I NEED A WEE

- Amelia : Oh for fucks sake. COMING BABY

- y/n : Repeat what Auntie Amy said and you'll get the computer taken away

- Eli : Can we go home?

- Amelia : Eli. I need you to run back to Auntie y/n's with Ryan. We've got to get the dogs and then we'll be right behind you

And off Eli goes. Running while holding Ryan across him. Rather him then me, I don't like running. I say I don't like it, I run when I need space mentally. That's when Amelia or Arizona looks after Bells for a night. Just so I can breathe. I babysit their kids for them too though so it's not one sided.

- Amelia : Shit Eli's calling me. Hey Eli, what's wrong? Did you not make it?

- Eli : Erm Auntie y/n needs to get home. You should take Isabell to our house.

- Amelia : We're on our way. Meet me at home?

- Eli : Yeah. Bye mom

- y/n : Bells you've got to go with Auntie Amy for a bit

- Isabella : But I want to come home

- Amelia : We get to take the dogs with us Bells and I think it's pasta night tonight

I don't know whose at my house but they're either dangerous or it's someone that'll concern me. Ugh. Why is life so hard? Maybe I'll just go back to Amy and Arizona's.

- y/n : Hello?

- Isabella : MOM!

- y/n : I was gone like 3 minutes

- Amelia : Who was it?

- y/n : I don't know. I won't have to deal with it until tomorrow because I've got a night shift and I'm not going home until tomorrow morning

Ahh the luxury of avoidance.
