Today was finally the day. The day of acceptance, and frankly Akira couldnt be any happier. Kids were running down the halls screaming all the while, as his older brother was attempting to wrangle up the kids and make somewhat of a farewell announcement.

"It's finally the day..and I've been waiting so long for this moment!" Akira exclaimed, rushing to pack his things. His Gaming Computer, Toothbrush, Clothing, and everything else he could. The excitement on his face beaming like that of a child, until he heard a knock on his door.

"Little Bro?"

It was Junpei, his older brother. Akira took a deep breath and went to open the door, as he saw his brother before him. His hair as Red as ever, his outfit that of a Yellowjacket color, with a smirk on his face Akira knew all too well.

"So, you ready for the big day brother?" Junpei teased, giving Akira a little noogie. Akira struggling to break free from his brothers grasp, laughing all the while.

"Cmon, you're gonna mess up my hair Junpei!" Akira shouted, laughing all the while.

Junpei brought Akira back into his room, helping him comb up his hair once more and making it look as great as ever. Akira decided to speak, and ask a question that frankly..left Junpei speechless for ever a moment.

"Hey, Junpei? Do you think...You think Mom would be proud of me? Sometimes I wonder..you know?"

Junpei smiled, before patting his little brother on the back and having him look into the mirror.

"Well, you know what I think bro?" Junpei said, taking a deep breath before going on a bit of a spree of praise for the little brother he protected with every fiber of his being.

"I think, you're a brave person who's strong and has been through hell, and yet you've overcome it all at every step!" I believe in you, Akira! I know damn well too, Mom would as well and she'd be beyond happy."

Akira chuckled, before looking at his brother. "Yet, you should be the one everyones proud of! I mean, you take care of us all! You know? You're practically recruited as the Ultimate Guardian at the Academy, yeah?"

The boys had a good chuckle, before heading out of Akiras room and into the Main Hall of the Orphanage they stayed within, The Home of Extraordinary Minds . Where some of the adults were clapping, and cheering for them. Their letters of acceptance to the Academy, Extraordinary Minds Academy.

"Dear Akira and Junpei Odashi,

We have seen your recent applications to our learning environment, and are proud to say that you've passed our test of applying for not only our school, but the Humanity Preservation Program. We ask that you come to the Academy at your earliest convenience, and meet your fellow classmates. We are ever so excited to see what future discoveries in not just your talents you provide for us, but your humanity and selflessness within yourselves! We hope to see you soon!"

Signed, The Headmaster of Extraordinary Minds Academy

"Well done on your acceptance, you two!"

"It's truly incredible Akira, seeing you make a turn for the better! We're so happy to see your talent truly shine more!"

"May all the success in the world be granted to you both! We'll miss you both so much, but we hope you'll write to us every now and again!"

These were one of the many, and last kinds of things they'd hear. Little did these two know, they were walking themselves into a door that was beyond their control..A door that would soon unveil theirs and many others fates.
