Chapter 9: All Is Not Well

Junpei stared at the newspaper clipping in shock. "So what you're saying is...The Academy is solely responsible for putting us here?!" He asked, with a frightened tone.

Yumico thought for a minute. "This doesn't sound good..and considering it's a newspaper clipping. It could very well be real, or..someone forged this to unsettle us and turn us against the academy. Easily an Ultimate Reporter potentially, forging and writing fake news?"

Mitsuko stared with a look of confusion. "People can do that?"

Yumico gave a resting bitch face. "If it's an Ultimate behind it, then yes, very likely. Perhaps someone in the news reporting field as said."

Akira groaned. "So what do you suggest we do? I mean-"

Yumico thought for a moment. "Hmm...How about for now we report our findings to everyone, and see what they've since discovered?"

The boys nod, as Akira, Junpei, and Mitsuko wait in the library. Yumico going and gathering the others for a group meeting in the library to discuss what they've since found.

As everyone gathered in, some like Riku and Lily took seats far apart from one another, glaring each other down like a pair of hawks. While the others were very calm and collected, but still looking slightly unnerved.

Yumico spoke up. "Alright, now everyone. I call the first intel meeting among the Extraordinary Students to order. So, let's begin by making sure we're all here.."

Yumico counted down everyone before nodding. "Alright, now. Barisuta, can you tell me what your group found?"

Barisuta nodded. "Lily, Hiroshi, Yutaka, and I mostly investigated the first floor. Looking around for anything important, but..nothing unfortunately. We did however check the basement and find Hiroshis Ultimate Lab as we can presume..and what we think could be Akiras."

Junpei raised an eyebrow. "What's Akiras Ultimate Lab like?"

"It was an Arcade, if I remember right. Full of-" Barisuta was interrupted by a wide eyed Akira.

"Y-You mean..THERES..THERES...THERES AN ARCADE HERE?!" Akira shouted with excitement in his voice, as he felt his legs go weak from bouncing up and down in sheer excitement.

"Would you calm the fuck down already?! Riku shouted. "Fuckin idiot.." He whispered under his breath.

"Hey, how about you calm down for once?" Lily snarled. "Let the man be happy in a tense situation like this, even if he is being a little loud. Jesus..I'm convinced your mother didnt hit you enough."

"Mhm. Oh, but I wonder if your parents ever disciplined you. No? Heh. No wonder you turned out to be such a bitch." Riku sarcastically said.

Lily suddenly went quiet. Her eyes widened by the comment as her teeth snarled. "DONT YOU-" Lily interrupted herself and let out an angry growl, while clenching her fists in anger.

Riku made a sad little baby face. "Oh I'm soo sowwyyy...Did I hurt your feewings?"

SLAM

The whole group jumped from the shock, as they saw Yumico who was holding a ruler and had slammed it onto the desk in a fit of rage.

"...For gods sake, it's like running a daycare here with you two. If you're gonna fight like children, save it for another time..or do we need someone to monitor the both of you?"

Riku and Lily sat straight giving wide eye stares of fear. Sweating all the while, and yet..eyeing each other down.

"I MEAN IT!" Yumico shouted. "Keep it up, and I'll make sure someone keeps an eye on the both of you! If I have to do it, I will, and you won't like how I handle you both."
