As everyone gathered into their specific podiums, those same bodyguards from the entrance ceremony appeared beside Monodevs throne, wielding their guns and standing tall. With their faces flashing kawaii smiles.

"Great, so we have these assholes watching us now as we do the trial?" Riku snarked.

"Theyre so damn creepy though.." Kentaro said, before looking back to everyone standing at their podiums.

"That said, Before we start. I just need to ask..Why the portrait?" Yumico asked, pointing to Hiroshis portrait.

"Well, I didn't want our dear little friend to be left out of the trial, especially with how much you all seemed to warm up to him in these few days you've been here! After all, a famous bear once said. Friendship always surpasses deaths barrier!" Monodev said with a demented tone.

"So, where do we begin exactly? We're just a bunch of teenagers with Ultimate skills." Lily snarked. "Any Ultimate Detectives? Maybe fucking lawyers? No?"

Maeko spoke. "I think the best place to begin would be the murder itself. Discussing just how he died, before we get into alibis."

Junpei nodded. "Alright, so let's start with that."

"So, I'm guessing he died via getting bludgeoned to death with the bowling ball, right?"

"NO, THATS WRONG!" Akira shouted.

"How the hell am I wrong?! Isn't it clear he had a-"

"You're not wrong to assume he got bludgeoned to death, Riku." Akira said. "However, if you look back at the file it says that his neck was broken. Aratani can confirm this, right Aratani?"

Aratani nodded. "When Akira and I did a check of the body, his upper neck was shattered. The C2 and C3 vertebrae was broken beyond belief, and practically mushy. It was..unsettling to say the least."

Mitsuko started to quiver. "It isn't the worst thing I've seen, especially in my line of work but..God. Would that possibly imply the killer took multiple shots to kill him?"

Yutaka spoke. "Well-H-How do you mean?"

Mitsuko spoke. "Well, I mean what if the killer DID in fact pull off an assisted suicide? Like, they felt horrible hurting him and left him suffering, and had to hit harder and harder till he died. Morbid way to look at it, absolutely but..it's completely possible, yeah?"

Barisuta nodded, thinking to himself for a moment. "It is completely possible, which would lead to our discussion of alibis and all."

Junpei spoke. "So, whos alibis should we start off with? Riku in my honest opinion seems a bit too suspicious."

"Scuse me, whos the one that also fucking said, OH I WENT BACK TO MY ROOM FOR DA NIGHT. YOU, DIPSHIT!" Riku shouted.

SMACK

Lily had smacked Riku upside the back of the head, and rolled her eyes.

"You know, Mr Tough ass. Theres a thing called shutting the fuck up, and it's something you should really be doing. If not because of your crusty ass breath, invading my space..its your temper and the knowledge that we will literally die if we get the culprit wrong that should make you shut the fuck up. How's that, did I hit it in the ballpark?" Lily snarked.

Ayaka spoke calmly. "Putting this conflict aside, I'll start. So, I was in my animation lab for some time gathering some supplies as in the morning, I wanted to do some work personally. At one point, Kentaro and Kioka dropped by and we chatted for a little bit. Kentaro was a little worried about some things about the Killing Game, amongst other little things, and Kioka was hoping I could escort her to her room."
