Little had Akira and Mitsuko realized, they had fallen asleep in the arms of one another in the middle of Mitsukos lab. The both of them snuggled up to one another, not wanting to let go even for a moment.

Eventually, they were woken up by a Corgi smothering them both with kisses. Akira laughing, pulling the dog off and stretching, waking himself up.

"Man...I must've been so damn mentally exhausted from everything, I-"

Then it hit. The memories of what happened prior. Akiras attempt at murdering Raidon, his realization that Barisuta was gone...and that..

That execution.

Akira tried to shake everything off, keeping himself composed as many things began hitting at once.

"Something doesn't sit well with me." Akira said to himself. "Why exactly did they resort to killing the hostages over a suicide disrupting the game? Maybe it's a last resort from the Mastermind since they know there's a flaw in their plan."

Akira looked back to Mitsuko, who was sleeping rather peacefully. "One things for sure. I've made a promise that I'm not gonna give in again, and that's a guarantee. As for Raidon, what the hell are we gonna do with him?"

Akira sighed, looking around for his tablet before finally finding it and checking to see if anyone in the group chat had messaged. Nobody.

"And it is....7: 12?" Akira asked himself. "So they must all be awake or investigating the next floor."

Before anything more could be said, a sudden sound was heard outside in the halls. Going out to investigate, Akira was startled.

"SURPRISE BITCH!" Lily shouted.

"AHHHH!" Akira shouted, nearly falling over. "Lily, you could've killed me!"

"Of what? A heart attack?" Lily snarked. "You're a tough ass bitch, doubt that's gonna happen. Anyways. Groups waiting for us on the 5th floor! However!"

"...However what?" Akira asked, noticing something in Lily's hands. "Uhh...What is that?"

"Get your man buns up and you can both find out together. I made it with extra love, don't worry." Lily snarked.

Mitsuko had now come out from his Ultimate Lab, yawning and rubbing his eyes. "What time is it right now? I feel like I slept for only a few hours.."

"You slept all day after the trial yesterday, the both of you." Lily made a resting bitch face. "Though WE WERE gonna wake you guys up but...My Yaoi loving ass couldn't let that happen."

"So wait, what's that in your hands?" Mitsuko asked.

"Oh yeah, Great Northern Nut Loaf. Found it in one of the recipe books. Recipe goes back to 1940's or so. Give it a try." Lily said.

"....Is it poisoned?" Akira asked.

"Do I look that stupid to you?" Lily groaned. "You should know by now, when I put love into a recipe, it isn't poison. I'm not some little demented sociopath like in the cartoons."

Akira decided to take a slice, and chew into it. He had been so exhausted and hungry at this point that anything sounded good in that moment. Especially given what Monodev might pull next.

The crunch was unexplainable, and enough to make his whole body cringe as Lily snarked. "What? This the first time you had nuts in your mouth? I'd have thought you got your first taste last night."

Akira stared dumbfounded, as Mitsuko who had helped himself to a slice had looked up in pure shock. Turning beet red in embarrassment. Lily gasped.

"I knew it! You weren't sleeping! You were gettin dirty! Giving me and the audience watching this apparently more reasons to ship the two of you!"
