Mitsuko is known to be the rational and attempts to be calm, type of person in the face of stress and terror itself. However, one must ask. Why? Well, due to the monsters humanity themselves proved to be in a lotta cases, especially to the very thing he loved most. Dogs.
When born, Mitsuko was raised by a loving mother who worked 2 jobs to support him and take care of him, and things were well and average for the first 5 years of his life. However, around the time his mother fell ill to a terminal illness, she bought with what was left of her funds, a Shiba Inu.
However, Mitsuko as a child could never accept change and when his mother died..He ran away as a means to not be taken away, to somewhere that could hurt him. For 3 years, him and Maxwell survived on the streets.
The main issue Mitsuko was too blind to think of however was...How long that friendship could last. Because one night while walking around, Mitsuko overheard a dog fight tournament going on. Mitsuko being as brave and selfless as he was, tried to go in and save the dogs.
Only for the leader of said gang, to have his men pin Mitsuko down while he badly beat Maxwell to death, forcing Mitsuko to watch. Screaming through his tears, trying to make it stop and crying out for his yelping in pain dog.
All Mitsuko can remember from that night was waking up in a Hospital with Police beside him holding the bloody collar of his now deceased dog. With the only words he remembered from that night from those cops.
"He's gone, Mitsuko."
Some time after his recovery and leaving the hospital, Mitsuko was still heavily torn up over losing Maxwell. He would frequently put his hand out beside his bed, wishing he'd feel Maxwells kisses, or get a chance to pet his soft fur...but no.
He was gone.
Due to this loss, the Police wanted to take Mitsuko somewhere special. An Animal Shelter nearby, where the thousands of dogs he saved that night ended up in. When he got there, the head of the shelter thanked and commemorated him for his efforts. While giving him a present to show her sympathy for his loss.
A bracelet of sorts with Maxwells name written on it, as a means to remember Maxwell well. Even with these thousands of dogs around him, however...
Nothing could change how many great experiences he had with Maxwell by his side, however. He was willing to give tending to dogs a second chance. They were after all the only creatures who never betrayed him once in his life.
Through the many days Mitsuko stayed at the shelter, and was taken care of by the owner, and now his new mother..Mitsuko never once left the side of his dogs. Training them to be the very best around humans by giving treats, compassion, and most importantly. Loyalty.
Until one day, he received an invitation from the Academy, Extraordinary Minds Academy. Accepting him as the Ultimate Dog Trainer. Which excited him, yet disheartened him. What was he to do with these new friends he'd make, and what of his furry friends back home?
However..the real question Mitsuko should've asked. Would he see the light of day again, and maybe have reignited Hope found within his new acquaintances, or would one of them betray and take his life?
