After a nice round of bowling, Hiroshi said his goodbyes to Akira as Akira headed back to his room. Before he did though, he turned back around and looked to the far end of the hallway of the basement, seeing a door he..hadn't noticed before. A two door entrance of some kind.
"I know this ain't gonna be a way out, but maybe it's worth investigating." Akira thought to himself, as he walked over to it. Attempting to pull open the doors, and realize they wouldn't budge.
"Hmm..I wonder what's behind this door. Then again, I guess in a way..I'm bound to find out soon." Akira thought to himself, before turning back around and heading back towards the stairs before remembering.
"Oh yeah! My Ultimate Lab! I wonder what it's like." Akira asked himself before shrugging and deciding to walk to it. He opened the door, and looked around before his jaw dropped in absolute shock.
Along the walls were many arcade machines, including racing and shooting games, with an air hockey table in the center. The ceiling glowing a blue and purple color, and the walls and floor having that of 80's arcade wallpaper, and carpeting.
"No way..They managed to get all these incredible arcade games here?! HOW?!"
Akira ran around, looking at all the amazing games before seeing on most of the high score screens. M.D as the top score.
Pfft. Monodev. Of course.
"This asshole really knows how to plaster himself all over everything here, doesnt he? He's like an egomaniac honestly..no matter."
Akira smirked, gathering many quarters from one of the quarter machines, and stacking them into his hoodie pocket.
"I guess I'll just spend the rest of the day beating out these high scores!"
As Akira went from Arcade Cabinet to Arcade Cabinet, he was racking up on his scores bit by bit. Getting even higher scores than Monodev could. He chuckled, as he thought to himself.
"I love me a good challenge sometimes..But in your case, Monodev. You should really learn to step your game up."
Before Akira knew it, he checked his tablet and noticed the time was 8:09 PM, along with..a few messages.
"Uhh..Shit, how long was I in here for again? Secondly..Was I supposed to be somewhere?"
The messages had read as followed, within the group chat they were all added into
Junpei: Anyone seen Akira?
Hiroshi: He was..last with me in my Ultimate Lab a few hours ago. Why?
Junpei: I've been looking around, and I can't find him.
Lily: Oh great, so who's the dipshit that killed him?
Seiichi: I..I wouldn't Jinx that. Maybe he's off doing something else?
Aratani: Guys, relax. I can look around for him. I'll meet you all in the dining hall soon for dinner, alright?
Kentaro: Dinners also on me tonight guys! So no worries!
Riku: Wonder if you're plotting to poison the food this time around.
Raidon: Hm..wouldn't that be quite the twist. The heart disease by 30 boy poisoning us all.
Lily: HEY! I'm the one who makes those jokes in these parts, asshole! Back off!
Akira chuckled. "Guess time really does fly when having fun..Damn, I really should've been more aware."
Heading upstairs, he suddenly ran into Aratani who was rather surprised by his sudden appearance.
"AHH!" Aratani shouted, almost stumbling back. "Holy crap, you scared me!"
