Going up the stairs, the boys continued looking around. It felt like walking in a labyrinth of sorts, trying to pinpoint the end game location, and yet feeling so lost. Eventually, a sudden smell overtook their senses.
"You smell that?" Akira said, not realizing slight amounts of drool were coming from his mouth and his stomach was growling badly.
"Hey, uhh..Bro? Youre uhh..You're drooling." Junpei chuckled, as Akira noticed and gasped, wiping his mouth fast.
"God, that is embarrassing..Still, I wonder what that smell is. I'm following it." Akira said with determination. Making his way to the room with the smell, he came to find a dining hall of sorts.
It looked rather similar to a professional school cafeteria, surprisingly. Which was ironic because wherever they were..It seemed like outside the rooms, not much detail was offered, but yet the rooms themselves were all out. Beside that point though, Akira saw 2 people..
There was a blue hair girl reading a book of sorts, heavily focused. Her clothing consisted of what looked like a Wet Suit of sorts, with a skirt over the bottom half of the wet suit. In her hands looked to be a book regarding Ocean Life.
Close by to her was a short boy with pink hair and a baseball cap on. His teeth looked similar to that of a shark, and he had a mask around his chin with that of a mouth filled with more sharp teeth, with little swirls around his cheeks. He had what appeared to be a very heavy coat on, with pockets labeled with different food groups, a pair of shorts, and sneakers to follow.
The Pink Hair boy seemed to also be eating what looked like..Ham on a bone. Devouring it by the minute, and getting a little messy in the process, while the blue hair girl was casually reading away in a book and sipping tea next to her. She eventually put the book down, and got up to stretch before she saw the two boys.
"Oh. I didn't see you two there. Good to see theres some new faces." The Girl said, as the Pink Hair boy darted his head up.
"Oh hey! New people!"
A rather..deep voice came out of the boy, which shook Akira. "Holy crap, was..was that you who said that?!" Akira exclaimed, feeling bad for calling out like that over someone's voice.
"Hmm? Oh, is this about the way I speak? Ahh! No worries man, I got comments like that all the time." Said the Pink hair boy. He stood up, and walked over greeting the brothers. "I figure perhaps an introduction is in order. I'm Kentaro Fukuda, and across Japan I'm known as the Ultimate Competitive Eater!"
The Blue Hair girl adjusted her glasses, and cleared her throat. "We currently have one other person who's in the kitchen at the moment, but I figure I'll step in and introduce myself as well. I'm Yumico Nakamura, also known as the Ultimate Marine Biologist."
Junpei shook Yumicos hand, staring at her in amazement at the fact such a talented person was before them. "I gotta say, Marine Biology is a surprising Ultimate to see. I never thought one could be considered an Ultimate in that field, unless you're like..really good at it, yeah?"
Yumico shrugged. "I guess it's due to the countless amounts of research I've put into my field of work. Not to mention, I've done some work at my local Aquarium to provide research of my findings. It started mostly after I lost my parents anyways."
Akira looked with a stare of confusion. "Lost your..Parents?" Yumico nodded. "When i was 12, we were out at sea doing some studies of Ocean Life with my father. To put it shortly, I got separated from my parents on accident after a storm hit. I was rescued by some dolphins, and brought to shore but..As for my parents. I have no clue where they are. Will I ever find them again? Well, I'm certainly no Royal Blue Tang, but I mean.."
