The Bell had rung for the morning. On the speakers, the sound of that annoying robot from yesterday could be heard.

"Ahem! Attention everyone! It is now 7 am! Good morning, and all that shit! Here's to a lovely happy day of killings!"

Akira woke up begrudgingly, and walked into the bathroom. Splashing water onto his face, and seeing what hell he looked like. His hair was a complete mess, with strands of it sticking out in many areas, and visible bags under his eyes. A lack of sleep from the anxiety waking him up at random intervals during the night not helping whatsoever.

"This is gonna be a long day, isn't it.." Akira asked himself quietly before sighing. How did this happen exactly? Why..is this happening? Why a "Killing Game" as they call it. Akira sighed, and got himself ready for the day.

"Hmm..Maybe I should try one more time. If I can connect to the Internet SOMEHOW. At least maybe I can get a signal.."

Akira walked over to his gaming computer in the corner of the room, and turned it on. Logging onto one of the online games, he attempted to connect the WiFi. Nothing again.

"Crap.." Akira whispered under his breath, as he stood up. "I guess that's not gonna work. So no way to signal for help at all..Perhaps..Seiichi can do something! He's a blacksmith, so maybe he can-"

"WRONG!" A sudden voice was heard behind Akira as he questioned. Turning around, he jumped in fright at the sight before him.

Monodev was dressed in a pink nightgown, with a green liquid on his face and hair rollers on top of his head.

"You just had to think aloud and break a new rule, didnt you?" Monodev said, in a snarky tone.

Akira grunted. "And what rule was that again?"

"No escape whatsoever! You gotta play the damn game naturally! After all, games aren't fun when you implement Cheat Codes..Riiiight?"

Akira snickered. "I think Grand Theft-"

Monodev shouted. "AHH! Don't say it! I don't need companies coming after my ass and suing me! It took a lotta money to pull this fun little game off after all!"

Akira rolls his eyes. "Alright, can you maybe go away so I can begin my day?"

Monodev thinks for a moment. "I don't know. Can you?"

Monodev made a chuckle before saying

"Well, just remember this at least! Any attempts at escape, I'll know..and there'll be harsh punishment in mind!"

Akira rolling his eyes, watches as Monodev disappears not even beginning to question just how he disappears like that.

"Deep breaths Akira..So, clearly WiFi doesn't work and..if we try fighting our way out, we could get shot down by those body guards. This ain't good.." Akira thinks to himself, before hearing a knock at the door.

Opening it, Akira can see Junpei on the other side who suddenly goes into worry mode, just seeing his little brother look disheveled.

"Woah, bro what happened to you?! Did you stay up all night gaming or-"

Junpei asked with a sense of worry, Before Akira shook his head and said

"No. Anxiety. Mankind's biggest silent yet deadly killer."

Rubbing the back of his neck, Junpei wanted to say something but couldn't. He understood..and yet..wasn't sure if he should express the same.

"Well, Anyways. I'm starving. How's about we head to the dining hall and see what's up with everyone?" Junpei asked.
