As Akira made his way into Yumicos Ultimate Lab, he found her looking through the tanks of multiple lifeforms resting within the tanks.
"What exactly will happen to all of you if somehow we win?" She asked herself. "I'm only one person, who knows exactly how to handle each and everyone of you for the sake of transfer but...Maybe I can somehow teach the others if push comes to shove."
She sighed, as she sat beside one of the tanks. Softly resting her head back, and taking a deep breath. "What am I supposed to do now though? Barisutas gone...So are my parents. What's left for me out in the outside world? Do I still even have the strength or inner peace to find a new dream...or even a new reason to stay alive?"
Akira thought for a moment, before he looked to Monoboy. "Hey, Monoboy? Can you do me a favor?"
"Of course!"
"Go up to the 5th floor and into the Memory Room. Take some of the photos of Yumicos and bring them down to me, ok?"
"Will do!" Monodev shouted, as he ran upstairs to the 5th floor as Yumico turned around. "Oh, Akira when did you get here?"
"Oh ya know...Figured Id sneak in, see how you're doing. Ya know, I.."
"You don't have to act so deflective like that, you know. You came because you wanted to talk?" Yumico asked.
"Well...Yes, and just..a chance to see how you're doing. You know?"
Yumico smiled. "Well, I can absolutely say I appreciate the thought. Come on in."
As Akira walked in, Yumico gestured for Akira to sit next to her on one of the benches, watching in on the Otters swimming in their tanks.
"Sometimes I wonder to myself. Creatures like all the ones in here? Where will they go once released? Can we trust the outside worlds ok after all? I mean..." Yumico stopped herself. "No, that's silly. Theres no way in hell the world ended or anything like that."
"Well, speaking on another topic." Akira spoke. "How you holding up? I know we had...a lot happen in the past few day's alone."
"To put it lightly, Ive been doing my best to keep my head afloat as any good leader should do." Yumico spoke. "I know everyone worries about me and all, given me pushing myself so much, and..Well, being shot in the hand as I was."
"No, not that...I mean, regarding...You know." Akira spoke.
"Oh." Yumico spoke. "Y-Yes. I've been managing as best as I can."
Yumico could clearly be seen grabbing at one of her legs with her non hurt hand.
"I've been letting myself be as strong as I need to be, for the sake of everyone else. I'm glad now no more deaths will happen, but.." Yumico could be heard speaking, with a slight choke to her voice.
"But what?" Akira asked. "Yumico, I hope you know that. You don't always have to play the leader role and act tough always. It's not good to repress your emotions, right?"
"...You sound just like him." Yumico said with a slight shiver to her body. "The ways he'd talk to me when I first met him. The first night in his shop. Our first weeks together understanding one another."
Akira thought for a moment. 'Maybe I should let her speak. She seems upset and showing signs of something more. ..What did Junpei do for those who showed signs of depression like this? Repressed emotions? Was it..listening and letting them say what they needed?'
