Chapter 45: Blissful Ignorance

Gathering into the Library together, Maeko decided to take a head count to ensure everyone was in the Library safely. 7 heads she counted, excluding Raidon and...Riku. That was until Riku sent a photograph on his tablet to the group chat, of a tied up Raidon.

"Ahh. So it would seem someone did handle him earlier." Maeko said. "Alright, let's wait for Riku to report before we get into our intel."

Once Riku had arrived, everyone took their seats at random desks within the Library, as Yumico spoke. "Alright, now that we're all here. All 8 of us. Let's begin with what we found."

Maeko cleared her throat. "Alright, so my group found Raidons Ultimate Lab that contained his journal that..Contained some unsettling things including his background. Not to mention, Junpeis Ultimate Lab that had a chest containing some very disturbing things."

"What...Exactly was there?" Kentaro asked.

"We found what appeared to be files of sorts, not before we had to...solve a very disturbing puzzle and all just to get to them." Yumico said, clearly showing sickness in her face thinking about it. "Plus, a strange blank DVD."

"Does the DVD have a scary girl who..who tells you you're gonna die in 7 days?!" Kioka asked, squealing in horror. "I don't wanna die soon, or at all!"

"Well, frankly we have no clue what's on here." Yumico said. "I recommend we make sure Kioka doesn't see the contents of this DVD, as it could be anything."

"Yeah, for all we know it's someone's porn collection!" Lily said, chuckling.

"As if Kioka didn't already discover yours?" Riku snarked.

"What's a porn?" Kioka asked. "Is it a type of corn?"

As Lily covered Kiokas ears, she slowly spoke. "You are too much of a precious child to know what that is."

Maeko cleared her throat. "Moving on, Yumico what did your group find?"

"Oh yes. We found a Movie Room, and of course a Memory Room. The Memory Room to be fair was rather creepy, given all the photos hung all around. We did also find a door labeled Masterminds Room, but...No luck getting in." Yumico said, as Riku said.

"A Movie Room?! Wait a minute, least tell me they have Racing Movies!"

"Well, if you'd listen to her speak, you'd know." Lily snarked.

"Thank you for the comment, Lily." Yumico said, as she continued. "Anyways, it was mostly random movies of all kinds. Some animated, some live action...but feels more like a family living room on movie night."

"You practically thought exactly what I did when I found it." Akira said. "Looking through a majority of the movies, I gotta admit..it brought back some good times."

"So, let me ask this." Kentaro asked. "Would it be a wise idea for us to maybe check that DVD for whatever's on there? Why else would it be stashed away with all those written reports and all?"

"No clue." Maeko said, as she opened the files that were found in the Chest. As she skimmed through them, she began to realize exactly what they were.

Murder Reports of both Yuna and Kenji.

"Wait..." Yumico spoke. "These are Police Reports of the murders of Yuna Odashi and Kenji Odashi..."

"You mean..." Akira spoke up.

In that moment, it began piecing together for Akira. Not just the Extraordinary Minds Academy Controversies, but...Those reports Raidon found. Not to mention, those notes on Monoboy, and it's attachment to Akira?!"
