Kentaro is someone with a hell of a lotta energy, and a lotta hype behind him. Always ready to take on new challenges presented before him. He's also known to be very charitable to those around him, but one might ask. Why? Why in such a desolate world with no Hope, does Kentaro seek to give others hope in some way?
When Kentaro was born, his mother unfortunately died during his birth. The woman who wanted so much to hold her baby boy for the first time, passed away before even getting the chance to meet him. This only left Kentaro with his father.
His father however...was a mixed bag. Some days, he'd be very enthusiastic, and always wanting to take the day in..and the next he resented his son for taking away his late wife. It only got worse as when Kentaro was 3, his father began taking Heroine to ease the pain of everything. Slowly wilting away from the man Kentaro knew best. The mood swings growing even worse.
In some cases, his father would waste their food bill on Heroine, and would blame it on Kentaro. Thankfully because his grandparents were in the picture, they donated bits of food for Kentaro. They got rights over adopting him at the age of 5, and treated him to his first ever stack of pancakes to celebrate. That was where his true hunger for food kicked in. Cherishing food bit by bit, enjoying every single bite like it was his last.
Things were going well for Kentaro, but he still worried for his father. Kentaro wanted him to be there in some capacity, and thankfully heard his father was getting therapy for his addiction. However...that didn't last long.
The day Kentaro was going over to his fathers to celebrate his father being sober, he found him laying on the floor on his back with a needle in his arm..Eyes void of life entirely, and the smell of fecal matter and vomit laced Kentaros nostrils. All Kentaro could recall from that day, was screaming for his dad to wake up. How...they were supposed to celebrate him being ok.
All Kentaro could recall from that day was crying hysterically, leaving that house and feeling intense guilt. Which led to consistent eating at an unhealthy rate. It caused him to gain a few pounds, before he ultimately learned of the sport of competitive eating, and how it can score him money.
Kentaro when 10 years old, took up a spicy ramen challenge. Down 10 bowls of the spiciest ramen in under 10 minutes, and you win a $10,000 cash prize. He successfully won the challenge, and found himself deciding to donate his winnings to charities. Research for Childbirth Deaths, and Drug Rehabilitation Centers. As a means to celebrate the lives of the people who gave him a chance to live, but also help others who've been through the things he has.
Ever since he's kept at doing what he does best, eating and eating, challenging his body and exercising often as a means to keep fit. Whilst donating his winnings to those in need, until one day.
He received an acceptance letter. Extraordinary Minds Academy had accepted him as the Ultimate Competitive Eater. Ecstatic, Kentaro set off on this new chance. Wanting to train his body, his mind, and his soul for a new chance.
However....Would he go through trial and tribulation surviving, and ready to take on the world...or nearly die doing so?
