Only three quarters into the movie, you feel yourself becoming tired again so you lean on Steve, who sits on your right.
It is exhausting to try and follow the movie by sound without fully seeing what is happening.
Hope and Cas are laying against your legs. Kit and Rhys are somewhere in the neighbourhood, if their snoring is an indication.

Your eyes fall closed and you lean a little heavier on Steve's shoulder. So close to sleep now.
"She seems more tired lately.' Loki whispers.
"She has been doing a lot, and I think the change from completely blind to the mere beginnings of sight is tiresome." Bucky whispers.
Let them talk, you think, Buck and Steve would never say something bad. So you let yourself drift further in sleep.

"How is she coping with that? I'm still stunned how well she take the changes in sight so well." Clint wonders.
"I can't answer that for her, I think it has to do with the fact that she eventually got used to it and that she rather lose her sight and help someone else, than keep her sight and lose someone. But to know it for sure, you'll have to ask her once she is awake again."

You're too close to being asleep that you decide not to answer, not sure you're even able to answer.

"She looks so peaceful like that." You feel a blanket being laid over you. It's soft and warm.
You want to say thank you, but you're not really sure how it may have sound because there are soft giggles or snorts to hear.
"I think she appreciated that." Bucky whispers in his low voice.

You snuggle closer to Steve and pull the blanket closer over you.

You muser have dosed off completely because the next thing that wakes you is Jarvis' emergency sound followed up by him explaining that the security has been compromised.

There is a lot of movement, and you get up and try to get up. Too dizzy by the sudden change, you fall back.
"It's okay sweety, we're here. Take a bit more of time to wake up, you'll be okay. Bucky is still here, everyone else is investigating the security breach." Steve whispers.

You feel a dog head on legs, probably Hope.

"Jarv, what was the security breach?"
Your voice still heavy with sleep.
"Upper level, they overridden the door, to fast for me to counter so they only meant to open the door. They are inside. Three people. Motives are unknown, they carry weapons."

"Thanks Jarv."
You take a deep breath before getting up again. Steve next to you moves with you.
Hope and Cas are pressed to each side of your legs in protection.

You hear footsteps behind you, known and unknown ones.
Bucky curses and Steve tenses.
"If everyone stays calm, no one dies. We are here for the girl."
"Over our dead body." Tony growls, before hissing in pain.
You step away from the sofa and move so you know you are in the direction of the people that hold your friends hostage.

"We know you are currently blind."
"Which means you can't use your flashgrenades."
"Indeed, so what is the next best thing to let you cooperate?"
"You think I am defenseless?"
Something is nagging inside you again, a feeling that seems to grow the longer you ignore it. The same feeling you had on the mission.

"You don't know us and therefore can't handle three at ones. Your two soldiers will not be able to do anything."

You sweep the room with your senses feeling that something isn't adding up. No one is near Steve and Bucky, yet you feel like they are frustrated with not being able to do anything."

"Holding back my guys isn't going to end well." You hear a dark edge to your voice.
Let go.
Let go so we can get them, and save your guys.
It's inside your head, and you decide to just go along instead of panicking.

"What is she doing?" One of the guys say.
Footsteps walk closer, sounds like a more feminine step.
"I'll stop her." The voice is close. Too close.
Hope growls, and you feel Cas more
The crawling under your skin gets worse by the second. It nearly hurts to hold back.
"Leave her alone." Bucky growls.

You feel how someone is so close into your personal space that you feel her breath on your lips.
Yeah, no, that is not going to happen!
You let go the control on this feeling under your skin, like you did in the mission.

Someone is knocked back, a groan and then silence from that side.
"Hey, what did you do to her?"
You hear the sound of a gun clicking from its safety.
Instinctually you point that direction and let go.
Grunting and groaning before there is silence once more.
"How did you do that?" Someone asks.
You can't pinpoint who it is, there is a gushing in your ear, a rushing inside your head it is distracting you from the reality, like it is taking over.

"Sweetheart?" You hear from a little behind you.
The urge to respond to him is big, but your instincts are through the roof.

"Leave her be, she isn't fully in control." You hear someone else say, more in front of you.
"What do you mean?" Someone else.
"Something instinctual, more primal, took over partially. She is not fully in control, but she is still able to hear us."
"Sweetheart, it is safe again."

"She has no visual cues to confirm that, it's why it takes longer. This was a safe place with things that are somewhat predictable. These three made sure that safety is wiped away."

"Or there is someone still in here that she knows about without us knowing." That was Bucky, the first one you for sure recognise through the haze you are feeling.
