Chapter 50

Tony is back in his lab after showing Zemo around, Loki and Natasha following him in.
"Will Zemo being here be a problem?" Loki asks.
"Not sure. Depends on how well he behaves in regards to Bucky. Can we talk about Y/n for a bit?" Tony asks.

"You're thinking the same as me? Her powers seemed to be triggered and she can't control them very well." Natasha says.
"Yeah. When she joined, it was just the healing, then at the escort that went wrong it surfaced as vicious. And now, I... I fear to say that something triggered her and she has not much control about it."
"She indeed doesn't. From what I heard about her stories from before I joined, she also seemed to need time to see again. It seems that even that goes faster than before." Loki adds.

"Yeah, I think we need to get her to open up about her past. She has it on a lock down, there is no way we got her to talk about it before. Even Steve and Bucky don't know what she experienced in her past. She hinted that it wasn't good, but more... We don't know."
"I could try to ask her? We have seemed to bond over my traumatic past, maybe I can get her to talk?" Loki offers.
"Only if you are comfortable with that, I wouldn't want for you to trigger yourself or get a break in your friendship with Y/n."

"Sorry to interrupt, Clint is wanting to come down if allowed." Jarvis interrupts the conversation.

"Let him down J."
"Of course, sir."

They wait for Clint to come down.

"I hoped to talk about Y/n." Clint offers, trying to read the room if it is the right time or not.
"We were talking about her too."
"So you realised too that something is going on with her power?"
"Yes. Loki is going to try to get her to open up about her past. Maybe something that happened in the past hid her gifts, but something that triggered it back now. Maybe it is connected."

"I'm glad to know that I am not the only one worried about her."
"We all worry. And I'm glad we're all looking out for her. I think Steve and Bucky are going to be focused on Zemo, so I fear they might not see it like this yet."
"Understandable, I would be focust on Zemo too if I had a past with him as a handler. It must be terrifying." Clint mentions.

There is a silence in the lab, in which everyone feels like they are on the same page.

"How about we gather here weekly, randomly so they don't see the pattern. We could come up with a reason." Natasha offers.
"Tony could come up with some new technology for my ear piece? And it isn't weird for you two to follow him down the lab. Don't think I don't see what is going on here. It's why I was careful coming down here. I wouldn't want to see too much of any of you."

"Ahw, but sweetheart, you already saw me mostly naked before."
Tony looks wide-eyed to Clint.
"That was on mission." Clint defended, flushing red down to his neck.
"Just messing with you "

"We'll observe and learn. I'll try to get her to talk about her past. We can help her out, hopefully soon." Loki concludes before mentioning that he is going up.
"Yeah yeah, we'll come up too, wouldn't want other people to get ideas." Tony grins at how Clint flushes even more red than he already was.

The four of them make their way upstairs, going into the empty living room.

"The tidying up is for tomorrow. We've had a long day, let's retreat to our rooms." Natasha announces before taking Loki by the arm and moving to the elevator, motioning Tony to join.
"Good night, don't have too much fun!" Clint smiles before turning to the kitchen.

"Did he just..."
"He did, Tony, but what did you expect?"
The elevator door closes again and they leave to their rooms.

A/n: so a different perspective for this chapter, it was kinda due time for another perspective to see how things are going outside our favourite trio.
