The hug Jeff and Kurt share gets interupted by the door opening, causing the boys to separate. Nick and Blaine walk in with a plate of food each. "How are you baby?" Nick asks worried but the questioned boy smiles slightly "Better thanks to Kurt". Nick smiles too "Great. Thank you Kurt". "Any time" the bald boy answers and stands up to give the couple some privacy and eat with Blaine in their room. "Kurt?" Jeff asks, before the boy is out of the room, "Would you like to keep me company? We could eat together". "I would love that" Kurt answers and sits down again.
While Kurt and Jeff eat, they keep talking about good memories they made with their loved ones up in heaven. Meanwhile Blaine and Nick sit on the bed, watching them while talking about Glee and Sport or better just everything and nothing.
When Kurt and Jeff are done with dinner Kurt and Blaine say goodbye to their friends and leave to give them some time alone. Before going to their own room they bring down the plates again so they don't lay around in on of their rooms.
When their friends left Nick and Jeff both change into their pj's before cuddling up in bed. Nick lies on his back, holding Jeff in his arms. The blond boys head rests on his boyfriends chest and one arm lazily thrown around his stomach. It's quiet in the room and Jeff enjoys his boyfriend stroking through his hair. "How are you?" Nick asks after a few minutes of silence. "Hm Okay. I'm still sad and I miss her incredibly much but talking to Kurt helped. He knew that I needed that" Jeff answers after thinking about his answer for a second. The brown haired boy smiles relieved "It's good that he helped you. But it's okay to be sad. Just talk to someone okay? I don't want you to hide those feeling like back then in school with the bullying when you were misserable. It's okay to not be okay and it's okay to tell people. If you talk to Kurt, Blaine or me you never have to be scared of bothering us". Jeff sighs. His boyfriend knows him too well because he was thinking exactly that but Nick helps to push them away. "I love you" Jeff mumbles. "I love you too" Nick answers as he feels how the blond boy slowly falls asleep. He kisses the top of this head and turns of the light on the sidetable with his free arm before falling asleep himself.
When Kurt and Blaine arrive in their room they too change in their pj's. Kurt unpacks his bag fast and then they get on the bed. Time to watch a show together again. Wrapped in a blanked Blaine takes the laptop to them. "B?" Kurt asks. "Yes?" the boy answers. "I think I'm ready to watch Alexa and Katie" Kurt says, surprising Blaine "Are you sure baby?". When Kurt nods Blaine starts smiling and kisses the top of Kurts head. Then he whispers "I'm proud of you" before he starts the show.
It's a good show and Kurt and Blaine actually enjoy watching it but a lot of things are familiar to Kurt. They only watched three episodes or something but they aren't that long. But by now it's pretty late already so Blaine closes the laptop and turns of the light before cuddling closer to Kurt again.
"What do you think of the show?" Kurt asks, resting his head on Blaines chest. "I like it" the boy answers, stroking up and down Kurts arm, and asks back "What do you think about the show?". "It kinda feels like someone put in a part of my life which is a bit creepy" Kurt answers thoughtfully and the other boy slightly starts worrying "Should we watch something else and stop with this one?". "No. I want to continue watching Alexa and Katie" Kurt answers, feeling Blaine relax again "That's great. I'm really proud of you". Then he kisses the top of Kurts head who sighs satisfied in return and Blaine could tell that his boy is already half asleep. He too closes his eyes and falls asleep only moments after Kurt.
The next morning Kurt, Jeff, Nick and Blaine go to breakfast together. Jeff still isn't fine but when Kurt asks worried how he feels today, Jeff answers "Talking to you helped. I still miss her and I'm still sad but I'm definitly better than yesterday afternoon". Hearing that makes Kurt smile slightly "If you want to talk again just come to me. I know it's hard and grieving is a progress but we can help each other to deal with it". He's glad that his talk with Jeff helped the blond guy so much. He loves helping people, especially when he knows how they feel.
After class the four friends sit down in Kurt and Blaines roomto do their homework together since Kurt agreed on helping them. "I don't get you Kurt" Nick says when they're done "You missed school, only got homeschooled, your sickness affects your concentration and you take naps. How can you still be that smart? I don't get half of the stuff we did even tho I'm still learning while you have to nap". "It's a gift" Kurt says overacted arrogant and everybody starts laughing. Even Jeff what makes everyone happy. "No really talk. At some point you know when you're the most concentrated and can learn and when you're not. When I'm not I nap, go to the cafeteria or do anything else. By now I know when it's best for me to learn. It hadn't changed since middle school" Kurt tells and sees how everyone looks at him. No pity looks like he would get at McKinley. No. Jeff still smiles at him, Nick looks at him in admiration and Blaine slightly worried. He knows that Kurt by now doesn't really has a problem talking about his past but you never know. Right?
Now that homework is done Nick and Jeff go to their room to probably continue studying or whatever. Kurt on the other hans gets ready for his nap. Even tho he still can concentrate he has to do it now in order to be on time for Warblers practice later. And this time he really will nap. He learned his lesson.
Kurt lays down in bed, covers himself up and closes his eyes. He listens to Blaine singing to him as always and slowly falls aleep somewhere in the middle of the song.
Blaine smiles and goes to the door but before he can go he remembers Finns words. He doesn't really blame himself. Okay maybe just a little but he should've noticed something right? This bit and Finns words repeading themselves in Blaines head are holding him back from leaving like he always does.
That's why Blaine turns around and sits down on the other bed again. For a moment he just looks at his sleeping boyfriend, sinking deep into his thoughts. He should've noticed something. Maybe he's to blame. Maybe Finn was right or just not completely wrong. He needs to keep an eye on Kurt. Blaine shakes his head. No he shouldn't think about that. He shouldn't blame himself. Instead he takes a book and starts reading to distract himself and spend the time until Kurt wakes up again.
After about an hour and a half Kurt stretches himself and rubs his eyes. "Slept well baby?" Blaine asks, looking up from his book to his boy who nods and mumbles "Yeah". "You're back early. What did you do?" Kurt then asks and sits up. "I didn't go anywhere. I just stayed and read" the curly haired boy answers. "But normally you always go somewhere" Kurt says slightly confused but Blaine shrugs "I didn't felt like it".
Silence fills the room. Blaine looks down to his, by now closed, book but Kurt keeps looking at him. "There's more" he breaks the silence, causing Blaine to look up. The boy knows him to well. "Why did you stay? And tell me the truth Blaine" the bald boy says. Blaine sighs "I stayed to make sure you're really asleep". "Why? No one told you to do so" Kurt conters, slightly mad. "Finn did" the curly haired boy mumbles, looking down again. "What do you mean?" Kurt asks now more confused than mad. "When you were sleeping on Saturday he and I had a fight. That's also why I asked my mom to go home with me. He accused me on not taking care of you. He didn't understand how I could leave while your naps becuase else I could've noticed that you don't sleep" Blaine tells. Now Kurt is mad again. "How could he? It's your desicion to stay or to leave and he should stay out of this!" he says but then goes soft again "Blaine you're not to blame. I hope you know that. It's my fault and I learned my lesson so you can be sure that I take my naps because I don't want it to happen again.". The other boy nods "I know it's not my fault but somehow I couldn't leave or stop thinking about the fact that I should've noticed something. You always were awake when I came back".
"Come here" Kurt says, spreads his arms and invites his boyfriend for a hug. Blaine puts away his book, jumps up from the bed and in Kurts arms on the other bed. "Thank you" he mumbles in the hug, holding Kurt tight around his stomach. "Of course" Kurt answers, holding Blaine tight so. With one hand he strokes through Blaines curls and adds "And don't blame yourself. It's okay that you didn't noticed. I tried my best to hide it even tho now it's obvious, it wasn't before it came out".
The hug lasts a few minutes longer before Kurt stops stroking Blaines head and says "Now come on. I have to change and then we'll go to Warblers practice.
