After school Blaine goes home fast to grab something before heading off to the hospital again. He goes to Kurts room, knocking before he walks in. Just as Blaine wants to open his mouth to greet the boy, he sees something that warms his heart. He sees a still pale and sick looking Kurt, sleeping in his bed and hugging the teddy bear tightly.

Silently Blaine puts his stuff away and approaches his boyfriend with a smile. He sits down on the edge of the bed, lays his hand on his boyfriends, trying to be careful with Kurts medicine which currently drops from a bag over a tube in his vane, kisses him on the forehead and whispers "Kurtie baby. I'm here.". The sleeping boy slowly wakes up and rubs tiredly his eyes. "Hey" he mumbles, smiling as he sees who woke him. "Good Morning sleepyhead" Blaine laughs, making Kurt laugh too. When he stops laughing the brown haired boy sighs "It's so boring in here that I felt asleep". "Aww baby" Blaine says, kissing the other boy and adds "But that's good so you rest a lot and get better sooner.". "I miss school!" Kurt complains, sitting up and making Blaine laugh "Oh really?". "Yeah. I miss glee, I miss spending the day with you and I hate being here alone and bored all day. Plus I have to work for school when you all have free time because I don't get my schoolwork before afternoon when you all are done with school." Kurt pouts but that sad face gets kisses away by the other boy.

"Well I'm not glee but I might have a solution for you." Blaine smirks while the other boy puts the teddy away and says curious "Do tell". "So you Said: You miss Glee, you want to hear me sing again, I'll hear you sing and it's Katy Perry week in Glee Club. So I thought..." Blaine says, let's go if Kurts hand and stands up to take his guitar case that he brought with him. "We could sing" the boy continues as he sits down again. "I- I didn't know that you can play" Kurt stutters making Blaine laugh "Well since I had no family meetings or stuff to attend I taught it to me by myself.". Kurt is speechless so Blaine just continues talking "I have a song in my mind and if you want to, you can sing along.".

As Blaine starts playing Kurt immediately recognize the song. It's teenage dream by Katy Perry just in an acoustic version.
Once again Kurt is stunned by Blaines voice. It sounds so much better live if that's still possible.

In the refrain Kurt starts singing along and now Blaine is the one who is stunned. Still trying to concentrate on playing the guitar Blaine starts to take short looks at Kurt from one time to another. They both knew how they sounded with 11 years when they sung together but that's now four years in the past and they changed. Their voices changed. Both boys are amazed by the voice of the other.

"Wow" Both boys say as the song comes to an end. "Kurt your voice is-" Blaine starts but gets interrupted by Kurt "Thank you. But your voice is just-". "Thank you" Blaine also cuts his boyfriend off. "Most people make fun of me for my voice" Kurt admits, looking down to his hands and sounding sad again. The other boy puts the guitar away and takes Kurts hands instead. "Those people are just idiots. Your voice is amazing." Blaine says and kisses his boyfriend softly. "So" Kurt says definitly not sad anymore "What are you saying? Are you joining the New Directions?". Blaine sighs but nods "I wanted to har you sing and since this means a lot to you I will.". Just like on the phone Kurt starts to squeal "yay!". "I usually don't do stuff like this and I'll leave if I realize that this is nothing for me but I guess try won't hurt" Blaine says and gets another kiss from his boy.

Again Blaine stays until the evening. Finn came by after football practice to bring Kurt his schoolwork. Of couse all three of them made the together. They talked a bit and watched cartoons. Then Finn left and the couple just continued cuddling and watching cartoons.

After dinner a male nurse Blaine didn't know yet, Paul, comes to see after Kurt. "You're getting better and better. Keep going and you can go home by weekend." Paul says, making Kurt smile "So I could also go back to school on Monday?". Paul nods and leaves satisfied. "I never saw someone as exited for school as you are" Blaine teases the boy playfully but he just answers cassually as it's the most normal thing "It's pretty exiting to go to school, be in a club and have friends after four years of homechooling".
