On the last day the boys clean the house and go to the little café again where they were on their second day.

After that was still some time for some shopping since not far from where they were on their second day is a shopping street.

But the boys completely lost track of time so it's already 8pm when the boys say goodbye and drive home.

As promissed now Blaine is driving home. One hand is placed on the steering wheel and the other on Kurts leg as they start the three hour way home.

The first half hour or so Kurt and Blaine talk about how they could tell the Hudson-Hummels about Kurts hair but a bit later Blaine doesn't get an answer anymore.

When the curly haired boy looks to his side for a moment before concentrating on the street again he sees that Kurt felt asleep. That's okay. They walked a lot over the week and especially with shopping it's exhausting. Especially since Kurts strengths aren't back since that long and he shouldn't use them all at once.

Blaine smiles, turns the radio quieter and places his hand back on Kurts leg. He'll wake him up when they're home and since Blaine has no one to talk to he just quietly hums along to the silent music of the radio.

A bit more than two hours later Blaine parks the car in front of the Hudson-Hummel house.

"Kurt? Baby wake up. We're home" Blaine says quiet, softly shaking the other boy awake. "Hm?" Kurt mumbles and rubs his eyes. When he looks around and sees the house in fromt of him he opens his door "Come. Let's go in. It's late and you sleep here over night. You drove enough for today". With a quiet laugh Blaine too gets out of the car.

The boys take their stuff from the back seats and go to the house. But before they can go in, Kurt stops "It's late and I don't know if anyone is still awake. We'll tell them tomorrow at breakfast". "Sounds like a plan" the other boy answers with a smile.

When the boys walk in the house is filled with darkness. Quietly the boys walk up to Kurts room where they find a note:

"I went to bed early and Carol has to work a night shift. I don't know about Finn but I'll see you at breakfast. - Dad"

Knowing that it's late the boys just get ready for bed. Kurt will unpack tomorrow and Blaine has to go home anyway tomorrow. For now all they want is sleep.

About ten minutes later the boys lay in Kurts bed, cuddling and sleeping. Kurt fell asleep again just as his head hitted the pillow and Blaine wasn't much better.

The next morning the boys stand up and go downstairs for breakfast. Burt is the only other person down there and Kurt is almost a bit dissapointed. "Good morning" Burt greets the two boys.

"Good morning Burt" Blaine greets back and sits down. "Hey dad. Where are the others?" Kurt asks. Finn still sleeps and Carol too. She came home about two hours ago" Burt says and remembers "Speaking of. When did you two some home?". "A bit later than 11pm or so" Blaine says after thinking for a second.

"Now I can't tell them all at breakfast" Kurt whispers a bit dissapointed. "Maybe you could wait for dinner? But I have to go after breakfast" Blaine proposes but the other boy shakes his head "But I want to have you with me when I tell them. I can only tell them seperately". "If that's what you want" Blaine shrugs and Kurt nods "I don't really have a choice".

"Hey dad?" Kurt says now louder and Burt answers "Yes kiddo?". "Close your eyes" the boy commands and when his father does Kurt stands up and goes to him. He turna around and says "Now open them".

Burt opens his eyes and is a but surprised at first to see the back of his sons head. Then he sees the little light brown dots but only really realizes it when he strokes with his finger over them. "Kurt! You have hair!" he says, turns his boy around and pulls him into a bone crushing hug.

Kurt and Blaine laugh quietly. Before they and especially Kurt can say something Burt has to let go of him. And when the man finally does the boy sits down next to his boyfriend again and intervents his hands with Blaines.

"We noticed five days ago but I didn't called so I could surprise you when I'm back and can see your face" Kurt tells and his father asks "Was it worth it?". Totally" now Blaine answers and all three laugh happily.

About one hour later Finn finally comes down the stairs. "Morning" he greets the other three "I'm going to Rachels in about an hour". "Finn before you go I have to show you something" he says exited. "Sure what's up?" the tall boy asks so Kurt commands "Look at the back of my head".

"Is this what I think it is?" Finn asks in disbelief and his brother nods "My hair is growing again". "kurt that's amazing!" the tall boy says and pulls his brother up on his feets and into a hug not much less bone crushing than Burts.

Since Carol worked at night and slept in the morning Kurt waits for her to wake up so he could tell her. Finn went to Rachel's after breakfast, Blaine had to go home and Burt to work. So while waiting Kurt unpacks his bag and prepares a little snack for him and Carol for when she wakes up.

About ten minutes after Kurt is done he hears someone walking down the stairs. "Hey Carol" he greets the woman. "Hey Sweetie. How was your trip? She asks and Kurt answers "Good. Actually something really exiting happened". "And what?" Carol asks curious but Kurt doesn't answer and just tuens around.

Your hair starts growing again" Carol says with a big smile on her lips and when Kurt turns around again she sees him smiling just as wide. The woman opens her arms and pulls Kurt into a soft but tight hug "I'm so proud of you".
