Part 13

The other 14 days the couple has left before Kurt has to start the new cycle are spend with movies, cuddling and walking. They don't walk long because as Blaine noticed the sick boy got weaker on his knees. Sometimes they go to the hospital garden and sometimes they doesn't come that far and just walk up and down the hallway. Sometimes they sneak out and try to steal some more pudding but they often get caught by Lisa who most of the time is kind enough to give them one more each.

Since two days now Kurt is back at his treatment and like the last time Blaine misses him very much. He had to spend the weekend without him but now it's Monday again. Four days left and Blaine has school to focus on.

In school he sees Finn passing him. He knows the plan now and knows that today Finn will be with Kurt during his chemotherapy. "Finn. Hey. When you see Kurt later, can you tell him that I might call him a bit later. I have something to do." Blaine says, passing the tall boy who nods "Sure". He looks exhausted, just like the rest of his Family. Sure over the 15 days break Kurt had time to regenerate and so had the rest of the family but the worries still last and that doesn't exclude Finn.

Finn has troubles with sleeping and his worries for Kurt are only a part of the problem. He takes care of his brother and keeps him company. Then there's school, homework, glee, football not anymore since the season is over for half a month now but it used to, friends, girlfriend and reputation. Yes Finn needs a break but there will be enough time to rest when Kurt is better and school has holidays.

The school day passes by and Finn tries to follow his classes and keep his eyes open. But still he doesn't always pay attention and so it's not the first time that a teacher has to warn Finn to pay attention or get detention. On his way to his last class Finn walks through the hallway, looking like an undead zombie. "Yo Hudson" someone calls and to Finns bad its Karovski. "You look like a zombie. Did ugly Berry lost her v-card to you the whole night or what did you do? Someone kept you awake or did you think I didn't notice that you suck more as a quarterback than you did anyways?" Karovski wanted to say more but he already did enough for Finn to lose his last nerve. He shuts up the other boy with his fist and soon enough that are fighting. Not for long tho because a teacher, Mr. Brown, comes along. "Mr Hudson! Mr Karovski! Stop this now!". Shocked from the interruption both boys stop and listen to what he continues "You both get detention this week. Starting today. Think about your behavior and now go to your classes. Everyone. Show's over.". Then he walks away and Finn quickly follows "Mr. Brown?". "He hates this teacher. Everyone does. And they have their reasons. "Can't I go to detention next week? It's just Kurt-" he starts but gets cut off "I'm sure your brother can hold on a week with you visiting him a bit later. I can't make exception. Now go to your class". "But his chemo-" Finn tries again without success. "No exceptions. I don't want to hear it" the teacher says and leaves Finn alone in the hallway. Finn needs to think. He can't tell Burt or Carol over phone what happened but someone has to be with Kurt. Suddenly he gets an idea. An idea that Kurt probably won't like but there isn't another way at the moment so he takes out his phone, sends a text and goes to the bathroom.

A moment after him the door opens again and the curly haired boy walks in "You wanted to talk to me?". "Yes. Blaine. I'm in trouble. I had a fight with Karovski and got detention for the whole week, starting today. Mr. Brown won't let me go so you have to take care of Kurt. No glee club today. After school you drive to the hospital so you have a few minutes to settle in before the therapy session starts. I'll figure something out for the rest of the week since Kurt probably won't like the fact that you come because he still doesn't want you to see him like that and today probably more than ever but you have to help me out here" Finn explains in a hurry since they both should be in class by now. "Of course I'm helping you Finn. But now go in class before you get more detention." Blaine says, fist bumps the tall boy and goes out of the bathroom to his next class with, who would have thought, Mr Brown.
