Kurt wakes up in the middle of the night and smiles when he feels Blaines arms around him. But when he wants to carefully put them away the boy mumbles still half asleep "Where are you going?". "Just getting myself something to drink" Kurt answers as quiet as possible. His boyfriend doesn't answer anymore, already asleep again. Kurt frees himself and stands up.

The bald boy goes down the stairs but before he can go in the kitchen he sees someone standing in the garden. With a worried smile he takes a comforter from the couch and puts on his shoes before going out.

"Aren't you cold?" heasks quietly. "Oh. Kurt. I didn't heard you coming" Jeff answers. The bald boy puts the comforter around their shoulders "Let me guess. You couldn't sleep?". The blond boy nods "I have thousands of scenes about how the funeral will go. What if something goes wrong?". "It won't. I know how you feel but it'll be okay. Everything is well planned" Kurt says before suggesting "Let's go inside. Non of us should get sick". Jeff nods slowly and both go inside.

"It's okay to only hardly get any sleep but you should at least try" Kurt says, finally getting himself a glass of water and gives Jeff one too. The blond boy gladly accepts "I know. Nick told me the same". "Everyone will tell you the same but believe me. I know that they don't lie".

Silence fills the room while both boys drink their water. It's a comfortable silence and Jeff starts to calm down again. Now he feels how tired he really is, which is okay since it's 2am already. "I think trying to sleep won't hurt" he breaks the silence. "Good" Kurt answers with a little smile and brings the glasses back in the kitchen.

Both boys go upstairs again and into Jeffs room which is filled with moonlight and soft snorring. Kurt hugs his friend good night, lays down again and cuddles closer to Blaine who immedoatly puts his arms around him again. Jeff too lays down and cuddles closer to his softly snorring boyfriend. Listening to the sound he shuts his eyes and falls asleep.

The sun raises but no one really wants to leave the warm bed. But at some point Kurt decides to stand up and wake the others. They have to get ready and open the door for the catering serive Robert hired for today.

Since Kurts pancakes are the best, he's in charge for breakfast. Blaine helps him while the others stay in Jeffs room. The problem is that even tho Blaine lived alone for a longer while he's chaotic in the kitchen. Instead of helping Kurt he dances around in the kitchen, almost letting burn half of the pancakes.

While Kurt and Blaine prepare the pancakes, Jeff and Nick still lay in bed but at least they're awake now. Their legs are tangled and Jeffs head rests his head on Nicks shoulder. Nick strokes up and down his boyfriends arm and asks "Why did you leave the bed in the middle of the night?". "Oh. You noticed" the blond boy mumbles. "Only because when I woke up shortly you weren't next to me" Nick answers. The blond boy shrugs "I couldn't sleep but I talked to Kurt and that helped. I'm still nervous because of today". "That's okay but remember if you're not feeling well later talk to someone" the other boy answers and kisses the top of Kurts head "Now let's go downstairs and eat some breakfast".

The boys go downstaors and Nick practically runs in the kitchen when he smells the pancakes and coffee. Jeff laughs but quickly follows. On the table are pancakes, fruits, sweets and basically everything you could eat to pancakes. "Kurt that looks delicious. Thank you" Jeff says and sits down. "My moms recipe. Enjoy" the bald boy answers and sits down with Blaine.

After breakfast Nick and Jeff clean the kitchen while Kurt and Blaine start getting ready. The doorbell rings just in time when the kitchen is clean again. Jeff opens and let the caterer in who immediatly starts to prepare everything.

When Blaine and Kurt are done getting ready it's Jeffs and Nicks turn to get ready too while Kurt and Blaine wait for them.

The funeral was beautiful and honestly Jeff has no clue why he thought something would go wrong in first place. There's no one who didn't cry or at least lost one tear. Jeffs grandma really touched a lot of lifes. Different lifes. Young, old, male, female, cold as ice or the biggest hearts ever. She knew them all.

Slowly everyone turns around and leaves to get to the house where by now everything is prepared. Jeff stays a bit longer and looks at the gravestone.

Suddenly Jeff feels a hand taking his. It's Nick who went with the others but turned around when he realized that Jeff wasn't with them. "Come Baby. We drive back to the house. It's getting cold" the boy says. Jeff nods and takes one look back to his grandmothers grave before going to the others with Nick.
