Part 43

On Tuesday evening Doctor Martin says with relieve for everyone that Kurts fever is gone again. Finally. "You can go home tomorrow but stay out of school for the rest of the week" he says and of course Kurt protests "But I have exams next week!". Doctor Martin nods "And you can go to school next week again to write them but for the rest of this week you have to learn at home. Take it slow and rest a bit more".

Since Kurt has no other choice he gives in and calls Blaine, telling him the news while already packing his bag for tomorrow. Tomorrow after school Blaine will come home to him again.

The next day Kurt goes home after breakfast with Carol sho waited the last bit after her shift until Kurt is done with everything so they can drive home together.

At home Kurt first unpacks his bag and then sits down to study a bit more. But not for long since he, Blaine and Finn will study together after school too. So he sits down on his bed not long after and works on his fashion book.

After school Finn and Blaine come home and first can enjoy the snack Kurt made. While carol slept a bit longer and Kurt got bored he prepared a snack for him, Blaine, Finn and Carol when she wakes up again.

With their sandwiches the boys sit down in the living room and start studying again. But this time non of the boys could really concentrate so they decide not even an hour later that studying would be no use anymore.

Finn goes up to his room to take a break from studying with some video games. He'll study a bit more later so he can make sure that he'll pass his exams.

Kurt and Blaine go in Kurts room too and decide to watch their current show Brooklyn 99 further. They both did enough studying today and just want to relax.

On Saturday the couple decides to get some ice cream at Kurts favorite shop but this time for real. Kurt also told Blaine that he could invite Sebastian if he wants so he can get his jacket back. Sebastian of course agreed.

So at 1pm Kurt and Blaine meet the bad boy and Kurt gives him back the leather jacket, mentioning "The hoodie instead of the jacket doesn't look bad either". "Thanks" Sebastian answers, taking the jacket but doesn't put it on.

"Did you miss it?" Blaine asks while the boys walk to a free table. Sebastian shrugs "Hardly. Most of the time I wear my Dalton blazer anyway but it was okay to not wear it in free time". "That's a good process" the curly haired boy says and sits down at the table with the other two.

"And how are you two?" Sebastian asks while deciding which ice cream he wants. "Not sick anymore but stuck at home over the week" Kurt answers with a shrug and his boyfriend answers "School and entertaining Kurt after". "Entertaining?" the bad boy asks confused but smiling and Kurt answers with a laugh "When I'm at home because I was sick or when I'm in the hospital I tend to get bored easily so he's in charge of entertainment when he comes to visit". The three boys start laughing at that.

When the waitress comes the boys order what they want and doesn't wait until the waitress goes again before continuing talking "How were exams?". Sebastian shrugs "Stressful as always but okay I guess".

The week of exams at McKinley is exhausting too but going good or at least okay isn't impossible. The only thing left, now that all exams are written, is the waiting for the results.

But with one thing Finn can't wait much longer so after his last exam on Friday he goes to Rachel "Can we talk?". "Have you thought about everything?" the girl asks and Finn nods, just so she doesn't go immediatly. "Look. I know that I didn't had much time for you lately but even tho you're one of the most important people in my life I had to study. I didn't had any chance to tell you but if I don't pass my exams or my grades are too bad mom and Burt make me leave football or Glee or both" Finn explains.

"But I couldn't stop thinking about you, us and that you don't want to talk to me and it made it harder to concentrate so we just hope now that what I did was enough" he continues and now that he is finished he can see the expression in Rachels face soften. She isn't angry anymore.

"You could've talked to me and I could've helped you" Rachel says, taking the boys hand. "You didn't give me a chance to tell you and I don't know how much I really would focus on studying when I learn with you" Finn admits, making Rachel laugh "It's probably better that Kurt Helped you. Sorry for not letting you explain". "It's okay" Finn reassures her "I just want my girlfriend back". "You never lost me" Rachel answers, raising to her tip toes and pulling Finns head down to her so she could kiss him.
