The weekend passes quickly and so the two boys have to go back to Dalton. It's okay but if Kurt is completely honest he must admit that he misses the New Directions. But he hadn't told Blaine about it because Blaine is so happy at Dalton. He's back with his old friends it seems like he belongs there.

On Tuesday after school Kurt, Blaine, Jeff and Nick do their homework together again. It became everyday life for them by now to do their homework together and let Kurt explain the stuff they don't get.

While taking a short break from geography Jeff has something to talk about. "Kurt? Blaine? I want to ask you something. I already talked to Nick so now I just need to ask you two. Would you do me the honour and come to my grandma's wedding? If not I can totally under-" Jeff asks but he doesn't get to finish. "Jeffy it's okay. I would be honored to come" Kurt answers and Blaine agrees "Yeah, I liked your grandma".

"Thank you"Jeff says smiling "I talked to my parents and you can stay with us over the weekend. We still have grandma's house because even tho she lived with us she couldn't sell the house. Now that she's dead my parents will sell it eventually. But we could spend the weekend there and say goodbye properly.". "That's sounds like a great idea baby" Nick says, taking his boyfriends hand. The blond boy smiles sadly before clearing his throat "I think we shoud continue with geography". "Noooo" Blaine groans frustrated, making the others laugh.

On Friday noon the four friends pack their stuff after school and meet outside. "Okay so we drive to my grandma's house to unpack, then we're invited for dinner at my parents house. After the funeral tomorrow the closest friends are invited to stay and we'll do it at my grandma's house so we have to prepare everything and let the caterer in. Sunday we can pack and drive back to Dalton without anything else to do" Jeff explains while they pack their bags in the car and get in.

The house where the four boys will spend the weekend is pretty. Not too big, not too small, a garden. By now the garden looks a bit messy since no one was here since Jeffs grandma had to go to the hospital and stay. But that won't be a problem for the friends.

We're staying in my room" Jeff says and leads them to the room he slept in when he spend a night in this house. When he opens the dor he smiles "She didn't changed a thing when she came here". He wasn't here for a while but the room is cleaned up with clean bed sheets and everything but still the same posters, pictures and toys like back then. The other boys come in too and unpack their bags before preparing a place to sleep for Kurt and Blaine since Nick and Jeff will try to share the small bed Jeff used to sleep in.

When that's done the boys split. Jeff and Nick go outside and take care of the garden to make it as good as a garden can look in march.

Kurt and Blaine stay inside and look what they can do. It's pretty clean already so they just put up some decorations. A pretty tablecloth on the kitchen table is what they start with and so they go from the kitchen to the living room tho the bathrooms. Once they're done Nick and Jeff are ready too.

By now it's also pretty late so everyone changes into clean clothes and then they drive to Jeff's parents. They're welcomed warmly by a hug from Jeffs mom. "Hey boys. Come in. It's cold outside" she says and the four boys enter the warm and cozy house. "Thank you for having us Mrs Sterling" Kurt saysbut the woman laughs "Please, call me Julia. Mrs. Sterling sounds so formal". "Okay. Thank you Julia" Kurt corrects himself and the woman nods satisfied. She waits for everyone to pull of their jackets and shoes before leading them to the living room "Dinner is ready in a bit but we can sit in the living room as long as it takes".

"Where's dad?" Jeff asks slightly confused when they all sit down in the living room. "In his office. There are still some last minute planings for tommorow to do. He'll be down here for dinner" Julia answers before turning her attentions to the guests. "So you are Kurt. Jeff told me a lot about you and what you did for him. Thank you" she says to the bald boy who blushes slightly but answers "It's really no problem. I love to help people. Especially friends". Julia sees Kurt blushing and decides it's best to not go further into the topic. Jeff told her about Kurts mom and Kurts cancer so they don't wonder when a bald boy walks into their house.

Instead she looks at Blaine, who sits directly next to his boyfriend. "It's nice to see you again Blaine. How have you been the past years?" Julia asks. Blaine looks at his friends and then to Kurt, who smiles encouraging at him, so he tells "Well since I came out to my parents and it went badly my life wasn't the greatest but now it couldn't be better. I have contact to my mom again, I met those two dorks again and I have Kurt.". He takes Kurts hand in his and squeezes it lightly. As an answer Kurt squeezes back.

They talk a bit more about how school is and about the Warblers when they hear someone coming down the stairs. "Hey Dad" Jeff greets this someone as he enters the living room. "Hey" the man says and then greets the others "Hey Nick. Blaine, it's good to see you again. And you must be Kurt". "Yes. It's nice to meet you Mr. Sterling" Kurt answers but the man laughs kindly "Please call me Robert. Mr. Sterling was my dad". Kurt has no time to answer before Julia jumps up and announces "Dinner is ready". The others nod and follow Julia in the kitchen.

The dinner was delicious but nothing special happened. They just talked about everything and nothing.

The boys don't stay long because Kurt gets tired. No one can blame him. After school they packed their stuff and at the house they prepared everything for tomorrow. No time in which Kurt took a quick nap. Instead he wants to go to bed earlier.

At home Kurt gets ready for bed and lays down on the mattress. Blaine covers him up and gives him a good night kiss. "I hop under the shower and then I'll come back okay?" he says. Kurt nods but then says "But if you want to stay awake with the others that's okay too". "No. It's okay" the curly haired boy says smiling. "Can you sing something to me?" Kurt asks, already closing his eyes. Blaine smiles at him "Of course". The curly haired boy starts singing quietly and for the first part Kurt quietly hums along but somewhere in the middle he stops and by the end of the song he's asleep. Bliane gives him one more kiss on the forehead before taking everything he needs and going to the bathroom.

Nick and Jeff sit in the living room, cuddling. "Baby I think you should go to bed. You need your strength for tomorrow" Nick advices. The blond boy shrugs I'm not sure if I can sleep in first place". "But you could try and I'll hold you close in my arms. Promise." the other boy says and it seems as if he had convinced his boy. Jeff sighs but stands up "Then let's go to bed". Nick nods and stands up as well.

The boys enter Jeffs room and smile when they see Kurt sleeping peacefully. Quietly they take their things and go to the second bathroom since they know that Blaine is in the other one.

When Blaine is done he changes into PJ's and goes back to his boyfriend. Kurt must've feel his presence because as soon as Blaine lays down Kurt turns around to him, wrapping his arm around Blaines stomach. The other boy laughs quietly but accepts his fate as a teddy bear. Since he's not that tired yet he takes his phone and texts a bit with his mom.

Blaine waves Nick and Jeff when they enter not long after Blaine. The boys wave back and whisper "Good nicht Blainers". "Good night boys" the curly haired boy whispers back. Nick and Jeff lay down in bed and the blond boy turns off the light before cuddling closer to his boyfriend.
