Tommy and Techno ran out of his bedroom several hours later, Tommy brandishing a larp gun and cackling as Techno begged him to give it back. Wilbur darted out of the way as Tommy stomped down the hall, pressing his back against the wall as Techno stormed past.

"TOMMY I SWEAR ON PRIME IF YOU DON'T GIVE ME THAT GUN I WILL STAB YOU!"

"No you won't~"

Phil grumbled and got off the couch, waiting until Tommy was right next to him and catching the kid in his wing, swiping the gun away and tossing it to Techno. Techno caught it and sighed with relief, retreating to his room.

Wilbur walked into the room, giggling in a way that reminded Tommy of Ghostbur.

"Why did you steal Techno's favorite prop? I assume the first rule he established was not to touch it."

Tommy grumbled, cuddling into Phil's feathers.

"He suggested calling me Apollo."

Wilbur raised an eyebrow.

"Apollo? Isn't he the one that's all healing and protection?"

Tommy nodded, huffing indignantly.

"He doesn't sound cool enough for a big man like myself."

Techno came back in, significantly more relaxed as he flicked through his notes.

"Oh I also did some research into the name Huios."

Wilbur perked up, following from the doorframe to glance over his shoulder.

"And?"

"It means son, or son of god if you want to go by the bible definition."

Tommy tensed up, pushing out of Phil's feathers and glaring at Techno. The first fully serious glare that the kid had directed at anyone.

"Dream doesn't think of me as a son. He never would. Little brother maybe but he never even-"

Tommy choked down a sob, scrunching his face into a defensive glare. Techno flipped to another part of his notes, showing the pqg to Tommy.

"How about Theseus?"

Tommy's eyes skimmed the page, his glare softening into a small smile.

"Yeah, Theseus sounds perfect."

Phil wasn't entirely sure how to bond with the child who had attached to his sons within a couple days
Sure the kid was nice enough, but Phil wasn't sure what he could possibly offer him that his sons couldn't. That was until he found the kid sitting on the roof on just the fourth day of his stay. Wilbur had gone out to his job and Techno had gone on Patrol, leaving Phil and Tommy alone in the house.

Phil himself just wanted to sit on the roof to think. Since neither of his sons bothered to climb up and he could fly, he had claimed the roof as his quiet spot.
Tommy had somehow gotten up there, staring over the city with a neutral expression on his face. Phil quietly approached, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Hey mate, didn't expect to see you up here."

Tommy jumped, glancing up at him. He relaxed when he recognized Phil, turning his gaze back to the city skyline.

"It's just a nice place to think, you know?"

Phil nodded, sitting next to Tommy and relaxing his wings behind him. He stared out over the city too, choosing to let Tommy break the silence of he wished.

Despite not outright saying anything, Phil's mind was still buzzing with questions. How did Tommy get up here? Was Tommy okay? Did Tommy have wings too?
