Tommy stood in the kitchen, chopping up some carrots. Slice, slice, slice. It was quiet. Tommy hated the quiet. His own screams rang in his ears, sounding far away in the back of his mind as he kept chopping. Slice, slice, slice. His eyes wandered to his arm. He wondered if he could still feel pain.
Wilbur came in to Tommy staring at the knife embedded in his arm. He gasped, running over to him and cupping Tommy's face in his hands.
"Tommy! Are you okay?"
Tommy just stared back, not understanding. It didn't hurt, it couldn't be bad. Wilbur's eyes searched his permanently wide ones, his brow furrowed. Tommy eventually moved his hands up and removed Wilbur's hands, walking off and grabbing the first aid kit. He could play along if Wilbur wanted him to. As he walked over to the couch, Wilbur followed him, anxiously grabbing the bandages from Tommy.
It was weird that Tommy didn't even move to try and take them back.
Wilbur winced and pulled the knife out of Tommy's arm, quickly holding the edges of the cut together and properly bandaging it. Tommy watched, sitting slumped on the couch. Wilbur tucked the end of the bandage away, grinning at him.
"There, all better!"
Tommy just stared back at him before glancing over to the writing pad he used to communicate. He ripped off the Moana commentary page, writing with confident practised movements. Only three days and Tommy could already write very fast. Tommy showed the pad to Wilbur.
"My limbo? It wasn't too exciting really, you wouldn't want to hear about it."
Tommy stared at him, still holding up his question. Wilbur sighed, leaning back and running his fingers through his hair. The white streak still pissed him off. He wished he could dye it, but the white hair refused to be dyed any colour. Eventually, he spoke again.
"My limbo was a train platform. I couldn't leave, there was no one there most of the time. I mean, there was the hallucinations, but they aren't really people, you know?"
Tommy nodded. He was leaning forward a bit, watching every little thing WIlbur did. Wilbur scoffed, smiling fondly.
"Kirsten visited though. Goddess of Death, you probably met her. She was so sweet to me, bringing me snack and companionship while I was stuck on that blasted train track."
Tommy watched as Wilbur stood up, grabbing his notepad to write something in response. WIlbur looked over his shoulder, his gaze darkening the more he read.
"Seriously? She didn't show up and save you?"
Tommy shook his head, writing more. Wilbur inhaled sharply.
"She couldn't reach you?"
Tommy nodded. Wilbur shuddered, hugging Tommy tightly. Tommy moved his hands up to Wilbur's shoulders, gently hugging back. Wilbur sighed, taking away Tommy's pad and sitting next to him.
"I'm sorry Toms..."
Tommy shook his head. Wlibur didn't do anything wrong.

Tubbo stood in the elevator, bouncing from one foot to another as it dinged up the floors. Finally, he reached floor 43. The doors slid open, letting Tubbo through. He strode confidently down the hall, headed towards the President's office. He paused just outside, taking a deep breath and smoothing back his hair before pushing the door open.
Schlatt looked up from his phone as Tubbo entered, his surprised look meltling into a satisfied grin. He put his phone down, kicking his feet off the table and leaning forward, resting his hand on his palm.
"Ah, Tobias. Finally done with your vigilante nonsense?"
Toby nodded, looking away from Schlatt.
"I'm sorry for leaving. You were right about the Enderrex filth."
Toby hated it. He hated calling Ranboo filth. But he had lied. So this was all deserved. Schlatt stood, walking up to Toby. He cupped his face in his hand, his eyes smiling at him. Never quite reached his eyes. Never had.
"I'm proud of you Tobias. You're really the best son I could have asked for."
Toby leaned into the touch. Even if he hated his dad with a burning passion, it had been years since he last got this kind of affection from the goat man.
Goat and Bee, who would have guessed that they shared the same blood?
"Your Papa would be so proud of you Tobias."
Schlatt pulled him into a gentle hug, stroking his hair gently. Tobias was back and on his side. It seemed to him like the perfect time to strike.
