He's just everywhere now. I mean Gale is really scaring me. He needs to understand that I don't want him in my life. Wait. Why is he talking to Peeta? "You're sure she doesn't know?" Says Gale. "I'm positive. It's kind of hard keeping a secret like this from her, but I know it's better she doesn't know." Says Peeta. What are they hiding from me! "Well make sure you get everyone to meet at the lake at midnight."

Gale says. "Okay. Bye." Says Peeta. "Bye." Says Gale. I put the phone down and run downstairs to act like I never listened. "So who called?" I say trying not to act suspicious "Oh just, ummmm Haymitch." He says. He lied straight to my face. Wow. "And what did he want?" I say. Trying to see if he'll crack. "Just wanted to make sure we were still coming to dinner." He says. "Oh." I say. I really want to tell him what I know but then I know I wouldn't be able to follow him to meet whoever is in this group thing.

Man. This is bugging me. I have to wait till midnight to figure out what this is all about. Peeta won't even look me in the eye. I decide to be a little risky. "Hey Peeta?" I say. "Yes?" He says. "Can we promise to tell each other everything?" I can see the shock in his eyes but it vanishes fast. "Yeah. Sure Katniss." He says with a smile only I could tell is fake. It's 4 p.m. And he still hasn't said anything about it. Whatever it is, he must not what me to know about it.

I decide to take another risk. "Peeta? Are you okay? Your acting a little weird." I say. I wonder what he'll say. "Oh yeah, Katniss I'm fine. Just thinking." He says choosing his words carefully. "What are you thinking about?" I say. I know I seem nosy but I'm waiting for him to budge. "Just ummm. Well. Ummm. I don't know what to wear at Haymitch's dinner. I mean Effie is here and she's all, you know. And so I'm wondering if I should uhmmmm dress..... Fancy or not. Yeah yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Oh look at the time I better go get in the shower. I'll be down in a bit." He says and quickly runs upstairs. Wow. What is this big secret everyone is in on! I mean seriously.

I've been through two Hunger Games and a rebellion and they think I can't handle something? Wow. I'm so mad. But I can't show that I know anything. So I storm out leaving a note saying I went to my house and I'll see him at dinner. So many things are running through my mind. Since when are Peeta and Gale best friends. Since when do they talk on the phone and keep secrets from me!

I mean really Gale was on the verge of killing Peeta earlier. Now they have a little 'club'? My head hurts from thinking too much. It's 5:30 p.m. so I decide to get ready. I grab a random t-shirt and some jeans not caring how I dress. I grab my dads hunting jacket to wear. Then I get some random shoes on and walk over to Haymitch's.
