When I get to Haymitch's everyone is already there. I sit down next to Peeta even though I'm still mad he's keeping something from me. I just have to play it cool and act like I know nothing. "So what did the Capitol want?" I say breaking the silence. "Well, how about I tell you after we eat." Effie says. "Okay." I say.

We eat pasta. But I'm not hungry so I just play with my food, rolling it around my plate with my fork. No one tries to make conversation because we all know there is no worth in trying. When we finish we sit at the table waiting for Effie to tell us the message. "Okay, well the Capitol needs you two to come to the Capitol. They say it's urgent and they need you there next month." Says Effie. Back to the Capitol? No. I can't go.

I promised myself I would never step foot on that horrid place again. I notice Peeta's face turn somewhat red and he starts saying "No, we can't go to the Capitol, I'm sorry Effie but we aren't going." I'm shocked. I thought he would be the on telling me it's okay and that everything will be okay as long as we go together.

"I'm not going to the Capitol." I say. "But dear, they said it was urgent." Says Effie. I literally stand up walk upstairs and find a window. I walk out the window now standing on the roof and see my roof is only two feet away. I jump and make it successfully. Then I just lay on the roof and stare at the sky. I'm not in the mood to talk to anyone right now. I just lay up there for hours. Before I know it, it's 11:45 and I see Peeta sneaking out of his house.

I climb through my window and run down my stairs and start following him. He doesn't notice me. Good. He goes under the wire and so do I. I keep a good distance away from him so he doesn't notice. When he finally arrived at the lake I am surprised to see almost all the people I know there.
