"How long is your practice today? I don't want to be away from you again." Sunoo whined, hugging his boyfriends arm tighter.
Sunghoon smiled down at the clingy boy. "Just a couple hours."
After exchanging the rings, they'd spent the whole of yesterday together, and Sunoo didn't plan on separating anytime soon. Even with his morning training, he ran straight to Sunghoon once it was over.
"That's too long, I'll just stay and watch you practice." Sunoo chimed, perking up at the idea.
"We both know you have more important things to be doing." Sunghoon replied, referring to the upcoming debut.
"Nothing's more important than you." Sunoo pouted.
Sunghoon let out a chuckle, gently brushing the boys fringe out of his face. His smile was so genuine, admiring how adorable his mopey boyfriend was.
"Listen, I know how incredibly handsome, kind, talented, and amazing I am." Sunoo rolled his eyes. "But you can't be with me all the time. It's cold in here, and you'll have nothing to do, so you'll be bored out of your mind. You could go study with Heeseung in the library, I think Jake's there too."
"Hmm, I don't want to study." Sunoo groaned, tilting his head in thought. "I'll see if Jungwon's free for lunch." He sounded sad, even when only mentioning Jungwon briefly, evidence that he really was missing his best friend.
"Sunoo..." Sunghoon spoke nervously, he wasn't sure if he should be telling Sunoo this, or to let him hear it from Jungwon. Though, the text he'd received from Jay this moring, kept playing on his mind. Maybe it was better to tell him now. "He's not back in Seoul yet, and he might not be coming back at all."
"What? What are you talking about? Why wouldn't he come back?" Sunoo questioned, panic lacing his voice.
These past few weeks had been extremely difficult, and not because he didn't have Jungwon. Of course his friend was around, and they messaged regularly. Yet, Jungwon hadn't been the same, almost becoming more and more distant. Sunoo felt him slipping away, with no idea how to save their friendship. If Jungwon was to leave Seoul, that meant he was leaving Sunoo behind, for good. He couldn't lose his best friend.
"It's not for definite, so don't freak out. I'm not even sure of what's going on myself. Jay just told me that Jungwon isn't happy in Seoul, and he's not certain on if he wants to come back." Sunghoon grabbed Sunoo's hand, in attempt to comfort him. "Please don't get upset. Jay's stayed behind to sort everything out, so hopefully they can convince Jungwon to come back. How about you give him a call? It might do him some good to talk to you."
Sunoo hummed. "I'll call him tonight."
"Sounds good." Sunghoon said. "Do you want to stay now? I'm sorry I got you all upset."
"No, it's alright. I'll go to the library."
Sunghoon nodded, planting a sweet kiss on his boyfriends cheek. "I'll see you later."

[TW- discussions of domestic violence, and misgendering]
A pair of big, innocent, brown eyes peered around the bar, trying to find the very controversial person they had come to meet. Jungwon knew that this decision of seeing Si-Woo, would most definitely cause issues with Jay, but at the end of the day, Jay won't stay home forever. He needed to look after himself, and whenever Jay goes back to Seoul, he'll be alone. Si-Woo may have actually changed; he wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt.
"Jungwon!" Si-Woo called, catching the boys attention. He waved him over to one of the booths, that was currently seating four other people.
Jungwon hurried over to the booth, pausing awkwardly at the head of the table. All of Si-Woo's friends looked really scary, he even recognized one of them from the last time he was here.
"Take a seat already." Si-Woo insisted, and Jungwon followed. He ended up sitting next to a bulky guy, who had a massive scar across his left cheek, and smelt strangely of aniseed. "Dae-Hyun, Ha-Kun, Kwang-Sun, Jung-Hoon." He stated casually, pointing at each person.
"I'm Jungwon." He nervously muttered, but no one seemed to care, or even acknowledge his presence. So, he just sat back, listing in to their conversation.
"Ara was giving it the old big one last night, running her mouth like no tomorrow." One of the men, Kwang-Sun stated. "Fucking did my head in so much, I just left. Pathetic cow was crying down the phone to me, not twenty minutes later."
"See with women like that, you've gotta put them in their place. Give em' a right kickin', and they'll learn soon enough." Another of the men laughed, causing the rest to as well, even Si-Woo.
Jungwon was mortified, what the hell did he get himself into? It hadn't even been five minutes yet, and he'd already been exposed to these people's disgusting views. He should have never come here. He couldn't believe Si-Woo had changed, especially if he surrounded himself with such people.
"Honestly, I would've slapped the bitch If I had the energy. I work all day, just to come home to this crap, and she wonders why I cheat on her." The man added, chuckling at the last part.
"It's so hard to find the submissive ones these days, that's why me and Jungwon didn't work out." Si-Woo commented, with Jungwon wishing he had never been brought into it.
The man sat next to him, Ha-Kun, turned to Jungwon. "Can't believe you're the same age. No offense kid, but you look like a baby. Gotta man up eventually, we men aren't biologically programmed to submit, you have to find a good, quiet girl to control. They like being controlled, it's how women are."
Jungwon was too afraid to respond, only nodding quickly at the 'advice.'
"How's your boyfriend anyway?" Si-Woo asked.
Jungwon felt like all eyes were on him. "I don't have a boyfriend."
"Really? Broke up with the basketball player?" Si-Woo sounded genuinely confused, maybe something to do with his Instagram stalking. Jungwon still had all his picture's with Jay up, so Si-Woo assumed they were still dating.
"No, I'm still dating them, but they're not my boyfriend." Jungwon spoke more confidently, getting annoyed at how he misgendered Jay.
"Just a fuck buddy then." Ha-Kun laughed, placing his arm over Jungwon. "See I think you can fuck whoever you like, but when it comes to an actual relationship, it'll only work if it's normal. Two blokes can't be together, like I said before, it's biology."
Jungwon scoffed, sitting forward, so Ha-Kun's arm fell off his shoulder. "I am dating them, like properly dating them. They're not my boyfriend, they're my partner, because they are non-binary, so please stop misgendering them."
"Non-binary? What kind of made up shit is that?" Kwang-Sun rolled his eyes. "The kids just tryna get attention. If he doesn't wanna be a bloke, might as well just say he's a girl, if he's that needy for attention."
"Can we stop talking about this?" Jungwon pleaded, knowing that he had to keep his anger under control. These guys were dangerous, he didn't want to get on the wrong side of them.
"Come on Jungwon, it's nothing serious, don't get all pissy." Si-Woo said, way too casually.
"Yeah kid, you're acting like an over emotional little girl right now." Ha-Kun sneered.
"Well maybe emotions and actions, don't have anything to do with gender. You ignorant buffoons." Jungwon stood up from his seat, hastily getting out of the booth. He faced the table now, bravely adding. "Also I'd like to make a little suggestion. How about instead of mentally, and physically abusing women, you take your own advice, and become real men?"
He was about to turn away, more out of concern for his own safety. Just before he did though, he uttered one last message to Si-Woo.
"Oh and Si-Woo...You haven't changed one bit. Have a nice life jerk."
