"A whole week without you, how will I cope?" Sunoo whined, gripping the back of his boyfriends hoodie.
Sunghoon pulled away from the hug, a sweet smile tugging his lips. "Your week is jam packed, you'll be so distracted, you won't even realize i'm gone."
"I'll still miss you though."
"I know baby."
A soft kiss pressed against Sunoo's forehead, as the boys bid goodbye. It was Easter break, with most students preparing to head home for the week. Unfortunately for Sunoo, and his other trainee friends, their place was in Seoul. The debut was fast approaching, giving them little time for trips home.
"I'll text you when I get there." Sunghoon said, swinging open the car door.
Sunoo nodded, stepping away from the vehicle. It was bittersweet, he really wished he could be going home too. He didn't see his mum much, which hurt, since they had always been so close.
"Hold up!"
Both boys turned their heads towards the voice.
"What do you want Jay? I'm literally about to leave." Sunghoon asked, resting his arm over the open car door. A hint of annoyance laced his voice, considering he already knew what was going on. Jay appearing here, with a suitcase, there was only one explanation.
"I need a favour from my bestest friend in the whole world-" Jay cut the sooking, catching sight of Sunoo's pink hair. "Wow that's a change, pink really suits you."
"Oh- um thanks." Sunoo mumbled.
Sunghoon rolled his eyes, tapping his foot impatiently. "You want a ride don't you? Why couldn't you just get the train?"
"Get the train? When my friend has a perfectly fine car that could take me instead. Come on Hoon, I'll buy us dinner on the way." Jay replied, staring expectantly at their friend.
"Fine." Sunghoon sighed.
Jay dragged their suitcase to the back of the car, popping open the boot. They quickly hauled their suitcase up, slotting it next to Sunghoon's.
"I'll see you in a week, I love you." Sunghoon said, climbing into the car. "Get in the car Park!"
"Love you too." Sunoo giggled, giving a little wave.
"I'm coming chill!" Jay yelled, running to the passengers side. "We need to pick Wonnie up on the way."

It was a long travel home, four hours in total. The group had a pretty peaceful drive, but Sunghoon wore out after a while. It hadn't been long since he got his license, so he still wasn't use to long drives. He decided around the three hour mark, to pull up at a services, get some petrol, and have Jay fulfill their promise of buying dinner.
"Two bacon double cheese burger meals, and one six piece nugget meal, got it." Jay mumbled to themself, pushing open the car door. "I'll be a minute."
Jay left to get the food, heading into the service station. Everyone was tired, they just wanted to get home. It was much easier to just eat in the car, that way they could get back on the road.
The car was left in silence, with Sunghoon mindlessly people watching through his window. Jungwon sat in the back seat, something plaguing his mind. This was something he could only speak to Sunghoon about, and this might be his only chance to do so.
"Thanks for taking us, I really appreciate it." Jungwon said, starting the conversation. He had no idea how to bring this up.
"No worries, I enjoyed having the company." Sunghoon replied, glancing at Jungwon through the rear view mirror. He could sense the boys nerves, but he didn't comment on it.
Jungwon fiddled with the hem on his hoodie, feeling the words on the tip of his tounge. He took in a deep breath, in attempt to calm himself. "Could I maybe ask you something? It might be a little personal, so you don't have to answer if you don't want."
"Sure, ask away." Sunghoon replied, curiosity taking over.
"I um...I know you've been seeing a therapist for a couple years, and I was just wondering if you found it helpful." Jungwon gulped, shyly rubbing his nape. "I've been thinking about seeing one, but I don't know whether I should."
"Don't."
Jungwon's eyes widened, slightly taken aback by the blunt answer. "Has it not helped you? I thought you see a therapist regularly."
"Well I did, but I cancelled my sessions two weeks ago. I'll be completely honest with you Jungwon, because you're my friend, it's pointless. You need to learn to rely on yourself, get through things by yourself." Sunghoon stated harshly. "Therapists try to suck that emotion out of you, when logic can just solve everything. If you're struggling, you can find a way out of it."
Jungwon dropped his head, feeling tears welling up in his eyes. He didn't understand why Sunghoon's words hurt him so much, but they did. How was he meant to make things better by himself?
"There was like no line, but the workers still took forever." Jay groaned, climbing back into the car. "Here's your food Wonnie."
"Thanks." Jungwon muttered, taking the food from Jay. He had a small hope Jay would pick up on his mood, though, they never did.
Jay quickly rustled through the bag, taking out their meal. Then handed to bag to Sunghoon. "Here."
"Hold that for now." Sunghoon commanded, switching on the engine. He checked his mirrors, pulling out of the parking spot.
"Don't expect me to feed you."
"Oh shut up, just hand me the stuff when I tell you to."
The two bickered in the front, feeling no different than before. Yet, that wasn't the story for Jungwon. He felt majorly different, almost like he'd been punched in the stomach. It was really hard to reach out to someone, and he didn't get anything he was looking for. Maybe Sunghoon was right, he needed to deal with this on his own. It's not like he could bring this up to anyone else now, in his mind, they'd probably say the same thing.
