The Olympics: Where dreams come true, and more transparently, where hard work pays off.

Sunghoon couldn't actually comprehend that he was here, let alone, that he'd qualified for the men's singles ice skating finals. Ever since he started skating, he knew this was where he wanted to be. It felt incredibly surreal, achieving his biggest goal.

He walked proudly down that corridor, knowing fair well how much he deserved to be there. Only days ago, had he skated his way into getting a spot at the finals.

"I better see a medal round that neck of yours by the end of today Park." Jimin proclaimed loudly as he strut down the hallway, catching glances from the others skaters he passed.

Of course Sunghoon also looked towards him, feeling less annoyed by his presence. Maybe it had something to do with the fact he knocked him out of the finals. Though, he wasn't that much of an asshole. If Jimin had made it through, he would have supported him, because despite being rivals, they were still a team.

"Medal or no medal, still got further than you." Sunghoon teased, receiving a playful scoff from the boy.

Jimin cracked a smile. "Trust me, I won't go easy on you next time."

"I'll see if I feel threatened in four years."

Both boys laughed.

Jimin regained composure, sucking in a breath, he placed his hand on Sunghoon's shoulder. "You've got this." He sharply stated, before removing his hand, and continuing down the hall.

He didn't expect some long spiel about putting their differences aside. That wouldn't have been natural. In honesty, they still didn't really like each other. Yet, they could admit that if success couldn't fall into their own hands, they wouldn't mind it ending up in the others.

Their rivalry was what fueled them on. Without it, neither would have gotten this far. They may not have been friends, but they could appreciate that.

Sunoo couldn't keep himself still, hoping on the spot, hands fidgeting at his sides. "Fudge, fudge, fudge! I'm so nervous!"

Mi-Sun grabbed his hand. "You need to chill out before we get in there. If Sunghoon sees you like this, it'll probably throw him off."

"Sunghoon's a pro, he'll be fine." Jay interjected casually. "Let the kid panic."

Jungwon rolled his eyes, snatching Jays sunglasses off their face. "We're all freaking out, even you." He chuckled, slipping the sunglasses on.

"Guys the lines moving." Heeseung clapped his hands to catch their attention. The boy moved with the line, his friends following after.

"I'm trying to stay calm, but I know how much this means to him. I want him to do his best." Sunoo said, his voice trembling from the nerves. "You know how it is."

"Yeah, I can't eat before a game. I get a horrible sick feeling." Jungwon agreed, reminded of how it feels to watch Jay on the court.

Feelings that had become more frequent as of recent times. Both Jay and Heeseung had been selected for a semi-pro basketball team outside of university. Ever since then, they'd been competing much more often.

"You have no reason to worry, I always win." Jay stated with a smirk.

Jungwon had to hold back his scoff, simply rolling his eyes, and pulling out his phone. He began taking pictures of the stadium and the crowds pilling in.

"Is that for I've got the gossip? " Mi-Sun asked.

"Yep, Wonyoung wants to cover the Olympics when I get back. Gaeul asked me to take some pics, so she can throw them up on the website." Jungwon replied, happily swinging around, to take a picture of all his friends.

"Hey I wasn't ready!" Sunoo pouted. He was never one to shy away from a photo, but he at least wanted to make sure he looked good.

"I'll take another." Jungwon chuckled, turning his back to the group, so he could be in the picture. He held up the phone, watching the group shuffle into position through the phone screen. "3, 2..."

"1!"

The camera clicked, as a huge weight came crashing down on Sunoo. He roughly tumbled to the floor, now noticing the lanky teen sprawled across him.

"Riki!" He moaned, while the boy only laughed.

Jake came running over with wide eyes. He dropped all the bottles of water in his hands, and immediately rolled Riki off of Sunoo, helping the ravenette up. "What did he do now?"

Sunoo got to his feet again, wiping down his clothes. He checked over his arms, noticing a few scrapes here and there.

"He thought it would be really funny to jump on Sunoo while I was taking a photo." Jungwon answered, showing the photo evidence.

"You're still such a trouble maker." Jay reached out their hand towards Riki. The boy accepted, letting himself being pulled off the ground.

Heeseung bent down, beginning to pick up the bottles of water Jake dropped. Jake also crouched down to help him.

"I was only messing around. Sorry Sunoo." Riki said, dusting himself off. He spotted a trail of blood dripping from his elbow.

Sunoo couldn't stay mad at Riki, and when he saw the photo, it actually looked kinda funny. "It's fine. I strangely feel more relaxed than before."

"Maybe he gave you brain damage." Heeseung commented, receiving a chuckle from the younger.

"Wait you're bleeding!" Jake's concerned voice filled their ears. They all watched as he dug through his bag, pulling out some wet wipes. He tried to clean the wound, but Riki resisted, only frustrating Jake, who wouldn't stop trying.

Jay nudged Heeseung. "I'll bet you ₩10,000 they're dating."

"Deal."

"Oh guys, it's time to go in." Mi-Sun announced to them.

From all of the fuss, they hadn't even realized they were now at the front of the line. The barriers to get into the stadium only a few feet away. This was really it. In about an hour, they would be watching Sunghoon skate in the men's final of the Olympics. All those nerves returned to Sunoo, hitting him like a ton of bricks. Though, he still felt that twinge of excitement. This was going to be a momentous day, no matter the outcome.
