Today was the day.

Jungwon's three best friends, the people who he trained alongside with for years, were finally debuting. Just like these past couple months, the day was going to be hard for him. He loved his friends, and he was excited to support them, but no matter how much time he takes to heal, he couldn't see himself ever truly accepting what happened.

The debut was scheduled for later in the day, and the group had planned a little watch party for when it premiers. Heeseung, Sunoo, and Riki would obviously be too busy to go, so it was just going to be the rest of them.

For now, Jungwon had lectures to attend. He had already completed one, with another set for an hours time. He wandered through the university, no destination in mind, he just wanted to take a stroll. The weather was nice today, a bright sun shinning down on the campus. Jungwon admired the freshly bloomed flowers, and found the scent of newly cut grass quite pleasant. He was glad the boys got to debut on a day like this.

"Oh my gosh Jungwon!" He heard a girl squeal.

Glancing around, Jungwon found himself next to the film/TV design department. He only ever came this way when he went to visit Sunoo, since the drama department is right next door. He quickly noticed the group of girls, who seemed a bit agitated, all conversing outside the building. One of them locked eyes with Jungwon, and he immediately recognized her as Jang Wonyoung, a girl he knew from high school.

"Jungwon! Can you come over here for a second?!" Wonyoung yelled, frantically waving the boy over.

Jungwon was a little confused, but headed over anyway. He could hear the girls whispering things like 'Who is that?'  and 'Will he really be able to do it?'  Which made him slightly nervous.

"Guys this is Jungwon, we were in the same class in high school." Wonyoung introduced him to the group, and all the girls said their own hellos. He learnt their names were Gaeul, Rei and Jiwon. "I was wondering if you could do us a big favour. You know the schools radio station, right?"

"Yeah." Jungwon nodded.

"Well I usually host it with my friend Yujin, but she quit this morning. If we don't find someone to replace her, then we'll be in a lot of trouble."

Jungwon could guess where this was going.

"If you're not busy, could you maybe host with me today? It's only for a couple hours, and we'll buy you dinner after." Wonyoung sounded really desperate, but Jungwon wasn't completely sure if he would be able to help her. He'd never done radio before, and he did have a lecture in an hours time.

"Can't one of them help you?" He asked, referring to the other girls around Wonyoung.

"We run the technical side of everything." Jiwon replied. "Plus the fourth years already think we're a mess. It's a long story." She sighed, along with the other three girls. Something must have gone on between them and the fourth years. "They'll have a field day if we can't find a new host."

"Ah if only Yujin didn't quit, we wouldn't be in this mess." Gaeul groaned, throwing her head in her hands.

Rei patted the girls back. "It's annoying, but she had good reason to."

"I know, it's not her fault her grandad got sick, I'd rather her go be with him." Gaeul added, lifting her head, she looked to Jungwon. "Please please help us."

"Uh...I don't know if I'd be good at-"

"I heard your presentations in high school, you're a really good speaker Jungwon." Wonyoung cut him off, it really felt like she was pleading now. "I know we weren't close in high school, so you don't owe me anything, but I'd really, really, really appreciate if you helped us."

Jungwon always liked helping people, and these girls were practically begging for his help. He may have had a lecture, but there was something in the back of his mind, telling him to do this.

"Okay, I'll help you."

"Yay! thank you so much!!" Wonyoung squealed, cutely jumping up and down a few times. "Gaeul will explain everything to you."

The girl in question, hurried over to Jungwon, grabbing his wrist. She wasted no time pulling him into the building, and dragging him to the elevator. "We have a set script for you, but don't read it word for word, you've gotta be natural. You can improvise all you want, as long as it's about the set topic."

"So, we're just having conversations about the topics?" Jungwon asked, watching Rei press the elevator button.

Gaeul waved her hand in front of his face, catching his attention. "I need to know you're listening."

"I am." Jungwon replied.

"Good. Now we're not a news station, so it is kinda like you're having a conversation about the topics. Have you ever tuned in before?"

"A couple times."

"Then you'll know roughly what it's like. You talk, we play a few songs, you talk, we play a few songs, and so on. We're on in ten minutes."

The elevator dinged, and the doors squeaked open. Jungwon was dragged once again, this time through the broadcasting department. He traveled down the main corridor, taking a hard left, the group stopped outside a door labeled, 'Radio station: I've got the gossip.'

Rei frantically unlocked the door, letting everyone inside.

"Jiwon, Rei, get everything set up." Gaeul directed, she was clearly the one leading this group. The two girls nodded, starting to fiddle with all of the equipment. Jungwon didn't know what anything was, or how to use it, so he found it quite impressive."Come with me."

Jungwon followed behind Gaeul, into the separate room attached to this one. There was a huge glass window on the wall, showing where Rei and Jiwon were working. In the room, were two desks, with computers, microphones, and more equipment Jungwon didn't know how to use. Wonyoung was already sitting down, prepping for the show.

"This is your station. The script is up on the computer, and you won't need to worry about the audio mixing, or anything, Wonyoung will take care of that. Basically, don't touch anything. Got it?"

"...Oh um yeah? Is that really it?" Jungwon asked skeptically, he felt like he needed to know more.

"Just be yourself, and have fun. Fighting!" Gaeul cheered, swiftly exiting the room.

Jungwon could feel the nerves setting in, he was really about to do a whole ass radio broadcast off the cuff. He glanced to Wonyoung, who smiled back at him, he could tell she really appreciated the help, which made him feel a little more relaxed.

"We need a duo name." Wonyoung pouted her lips in thought. "Oh! What about WonWon?!"

"WonWon?" He chuckled.

"Yeah, it's really cute! It's perfect for us!"
