"Jungwon, come to the kitchen please."

That explains why the hall light was on.

"I guess mum hasn't gone to work yet." Jungwon said to the other person in his hall. He'd invited Jay to stay the night, since they lived quite far away from each other, and it was already late. Jay had stayed over before with no issues, so he had no worry about his mothers reaction.

The two wandered into Jungwon's kitchen, greeting his mother as she ate a bowl of cereal over the breakfast bar. Her eyes lit up when she noticed who was with her son. "Oh you brought the rich one home." She spoke playfully.

"Actually I brought him home Mrs Yang." Jay said, ruffling the boys hair.

Jungwon pushed away Jay's hands, fixing his hair quickly. "How come you're not at work?"

"How come you don't know?" Mrs Yang scoffed, mocking her sons question. "There was a time when you knew my schedule like the back of your hand. Do you really have such little interest in your mother now? It's this rich one, taking all your attention."

"My apologies Mrs Yang, I'll try to be less lovable." Jay played innocent, receiving a laugh from the woman.

"Mm continue as you are, at least you're making my baby happy."

"Mum." Jungwon groaned.

"What? You are my baby." She shook her head, taking another mouthful of cereal. "I'm working two till ten this morning, and your father will be back at three, so make sure to unlock the door."

Jungwon nodded. "Will do."

"Good boy. Now do you two need anything? Food? A drink?"

"Just some sleep." Jay commented.

"Oh for sure, do you know what time it is? You kids need to get some healthy sleep schedules."

"Nice advice coming from you." Jungwon snickered, his mother only scoffing in return. "We'll go to my room now, see you later I assume."

"Jungwon." Mrs Yang called before the two left the kitchen. "I want to speak with you."

Jay gave Jungwon a little pat on the shoulder. "I'll go up first, good night Mrs Yang."

"Good night Jay." She smiled.

Jungwon stared at his mother for a second.

"Hurry up kiddo." She said, pulling out a chair. Jungwon scuttered over to the breakfast bar, hoping up on the seat beside her. "I was wondering what you're going to do about university. I'm fine with you missing a few days, but I just wanted to know when you plan on going back."

Jungwon let out a sigh, and before he could say anything, his mother spoke.

"I'll take that as my answer." She said, bringing her hand up to Jungwon's hair, she began to gently stroke the boys brown locks. "I can understand why you don't want to go back, and it'll always be your decision. If you want to stay, I will support you fully."

"I don't know if I belong in Seoul mum, I feel much happier here." Jungwon stated, looking to his mum for comfort.

She gave him a reassuring smile, brushing back the front strands of his hair. "I won't doubt how you feel, but can I raise you a question? Is it a matter of you not belonging in Seoul? Or is it that things haven't necessarily worked out for you there, so you want to come back to something more familiar?"

"Probably the second, but there's nothing wrong with coming home, is there?" He asked in desperation.

"No, of course not kiddo. You can come home whenever you want, and if you want to stay here, then you're completely in your right to do so." She explained, trying to handle this situation as sensitively as possible. "It's just that the problems start when you aren't coming home for comfort. You're coming back because you're running away from something."

His mother knew him far too well. Maybe he was running away from Seoul, out of fear, confusion, embarrassment, there was a lot that made him not want to go back.

"Are you staying for good?"

"I don't know."

"Indecisive as always." She chuckled, removing her hand from Jungwon's hair, she clapped her hands together. "How about we do this? You go back to Seoul until the end of the school year, and if you really feel like you want to come back for good, you can. Does that sound alright?"

"I think so." Jungwon replied.

"Good boy." She smiled. "Trust me, you won't learn anything by running away when you're confused. You've got to stick around for a little longer to be certain. Now, off you go to bed, it's way past your bedtime."

"Mum I'm nineteen, I don't have a bed time." Jungwon laughed, clambering off his chair.

"Maybe back in Seoul, but here, you're still my baby."

"Wow, you really are pushing me back to Seoul."

"Hey psycho!"

Riki flinched, nearly dropping the bag of crisps he was about to pay for. He let out a groan, swinging around in annoyance. He seriously wondered why these guys were so jet set on following him everywhere, like he just wanted to buy snacks in peace, was that too much to ask for?

"Can you just leave me alo-" Riki froze.

He couldn't actually believe who he was seeing right now.

"Missed me?" The boy smirked. "You can't get rid of me that easily, I still have a bone to pick with you."

On the last time he saw this kid, he was smashing his head through a window.

"I was actually shocked that my parents cared more about my 'bullying,' than the fact that I got attacked by a psycho. Now I'm stuck at a school full of dorks, while you get off scot free. Doesn't sound fair, does it?"

Riki was speechless. What was he meant to say? Sorry? How are you meant to apologize for smashing someones head through a window?

"Oh I've heard about you going all silent on the guys recently, even ran to a teacher. Kinda lame if you ask me." The boy snickered, casually brushing his fringe out of his face. "You know whats not lame though? You debuting. I'm actually really excited, you wanna know why?"

"I don't care." Riki turned his back to the boys, hoping that they'll have had enough. He scanned his single item, tapping the pay button.

He wasn't ready for what was about to happen.

"'Rookie idol smashes schoolmates head through a window,' I can see the headlines now."

Riki immediately turned back around, eyes wide and panicked. "You wouldn't..."

"Don't underestimate me psycho-"

Riki's fists clenched around the boys collar, jolting him forward. The other boys rushed to intervene, but were quickly waved off by the boy.

"What the hell do you want?" Riki almost whispered, through gritted teeth.

The boy laughed. "Nothing that concerns you for now."

"I'm warning you, don't fucking mess with me. You may have pushed me around in school, but It's a different story out here."

"Your threats are cute, but they don't hold weight. Trust me Riki, I could destroy your career with the click of my fingers. And I may even have something up my sleeve for those brothers of yours."

That was it, Riki wouldn't let anyone mess with his friends. He roughly released his grip of the collar, forcefully shoving the boy back against the shelves. His body hit the unit, knocking countless items on the floor, as he slid to the ground wincing in pain. Riki could only see red, storming towards the boy, he grabbed a tuft of the boys hair, holding his head in place, as he swung his leg back.

"Riki stop!"

Honestly I think I could actually write a third book with how my endings turned out. I'm not sure if people would want that, and not gonna lie, I don't really feel like writing a third. So I've planned to write some epilogue chapters.

like 10 more chapters until the stories done, can't believe it's nearly over.
