Stretch found herself standing in the repair bay alone, Peridot having gone with the other gems to explain the situation to the other Diamonds.

She was working diligently to reconstruct the damaged code within Chip's compartmental storage.

"I dont get it...how could a signal bounce around so much?" She said to herself in confusion, looking to the screen she had been using to triangulate the hacker.

Suddenly the screen stopped changing, an audible *ping* noise being emitted as it located the origin of the hack.

The screen was focused in on not only the same galaxy as homeworld. But the planet itself.

The hacker was based on Homeworld and the signal was incredibly strong.

Just as Stretch was about to contact the other crystal gems her attention was directed to the observation booth window.

Chip was still hanging there in the room. However there was something very wrong.

Chip's head was shaking and twitching in an abnormal manner, as if it was shuddering from the cold.

Suddenly his right arm bent and shuddered as well, arcs of blood red energy sparking along it.

Then her screens flashed.

Then the lights flashed.

The code along her screens rapidly began to turn a dark red color, causing her to quickly begin typing.

"No, no, no, no. Not this time!" Stretch said confidently, doing her best to fight back the hack.

Within the repair bay. Chip's head snapped towards the window, his right eyesocket having a glowing blood red dot within it.

"You can u-u-update his firewall all you want. It wont change anything in the slightest"

Stretch froze for a moment at the voice, not having expected a speaking virus.

"We'll see about that!" Stretch said as she began typing on multiple screens.

The lights in the room began turning red, as did the screens within the room.

"I've hacked into everything. You'll try and fail to fight back"

"Bringing this husk to Homeworld was your biggest mistake!" The voice said with a maniacal laugh.

"You should really focus on hacking! You've got you hands full" Stretch said with a scowl.

She jumped as the security doors slammed shut around her, having begun to shake.

The input of each key on the keyboard for each screen had been scrambled.

"Say your goodbyes you filthy Peridot" The voice claimed, its dot like eye forming into the same humanoid red iris it used before.

Stretch took a step back as the same Iris flashed across the screens in the room locking her out of them.

Seconds later she was plunged into darkness, the sound of various wires and cables being broken echoing through the repair bay.

In the darkness of the repair bay, she was able to see two glowing red human irises.

The platform in the center had been raised, letting the hacked body of Chip stand up.

He disappeared in a blur of movement before crashing through the glass of the observation booth, pinning Stretch to the ground.

The last thing she saw was a fist connecting with her head, a loud cracking like sound ringing out on contact. Before a loud *clink* like sound was heard
