Chapter One: Honesty And Intimacy

'Aurora found herself standing in the kitchen of the Beach house with two mugs in front of her, an electric tea kettle being placed off to the side as it heated up'

'As Aurora stood patiently waiting she had begun humming to herself, her attention being caught by the sound of footsteps'

"Hey Pearl" 'Aurora said softly, catching her attention as the gem walked around the corner'

"Hello Aurora. Feeling better I trust?" 'Pearl asked with a chuckle, earning a thoughtful hum from Aurora'

"To some extent I suppose I am. The serum is starting to wear off though so I'm sure that'll change soon" 'Aurora said with a chuckle as she picked up the kettle, pouring the boiling water into each mug that was in front of her'

"Are you certain you want to watch over Chip then? I could call Sapphire" 'Pearl offered, earning a hum from Aurora, her eyes turning a dull but soft pink color'

"I'm sure. I can control myself much better now. I'm not going to force it, when he feels comfortable is when he will make a move" 'Aurora stated in an assured tone as she opened the cupboard next to her, pulling out a small container of honey' 

"Well I'm glad you two have come to an understanding" 'Pearl said with a chuckle as Aurora mixed the honey into both mugs of tea, promptly picking them up afterwards'

"Of course we did! We're Metamorin. We aren't human, we can work together rather easily" 'Aurora stated in a prideful manner as she began walking back to the gem door'

'Once she made her way into Chip's room, Aurora quickly and silently made her way to the bed, finding Chip had fallen back to sleep'

'As she sat down on the bed she opened up part of her left arm, using a small mechanical claw to poke Chip's nose'

'Chip let out a tired whimper as he stirred. His reactor whirring to life while he sat up'

"Sorry, I made us tea" 'Aurora said softly, handing her half asleep boyfriend his cup'

"Oooh hot leaf juice" 'Chip said with a mild laugh'

'Aurora sat down with a nervous cough as she cleared her voice'

"I'm sorry for how i was acting before I took the serum" 'Aurora said apologetically, earnint a shake of Chip's head as he took a sip of tea'

"It's okay love. I know you wouldn't force me into something like that" 'Chip said reassuringly with a tired smile'

"Still, I should have respected your boundries more..." 'Aurora said with a sigh'

'A silence fell between the two as they tried to figure out how to continue the conversation'

"I-It's not like the thought hasn't crossed my mind. I dont have any issues with it" 'Chip said in an honest tone, a dull blue blush crossing his face'

'Aurora seemed to be taken aback slightly. A purple blush of her own had crossed her face'

"R-Really?" Aurora asked in a soft but surprised tone'

"Of course. You are very attractive and I love you. So of course the thought has  crossed my mind once or twice" 'Chip explained shyly. His eyes gaining a deep pinkish red color'

'Aurora stiffened slightly as her eyes flickered to the same color that Chip's had. Her breathing growing heavier ever so slightly'

"W-Well. You're not so hard on the eyes yourselt y'know" 'Aurora said in a honest tone'

"I dont know about that" 'Chip said with a flustered but doubtful chuckle'

'Chip found himself being forced to look to Aurora as she had hooked her finger under his chin'

"Chip. You are so incredibly dense, anytime I see you my reactor speeds up"

"You are incredibly strong. I'd be lying if i said your power as a Diamond wasn't hot" 'Aurora finished, instantly sending a pink blush across Chip's face'

'Both Chip and Aurora's tea clattered to the ground as the taller woman pinner Chip to the bed, straddling him as she did so'

"Or would you rather me prove it to you?" 'Aurora asked as her hair turned a bright neon pink, trails of glowing smoke flowing off of her hair'

"I-I don't know" 'Chip said with mild fear in his voice, earning a sweet but sly smile from Aurora'

"Don't worry hun, we can take it as slow and steady as you need" 'Aurora said reassuringly'

'As Chip let out a shaky breath his diamond began to glow a mixture of pink and blue'

'The metal lines along his face had begun to glow a vibrant neon blue color, a side effect of his reactor super charging'

'Aurora bit her lip at the display, her smile growing as Chip nodded hesitantly'

"If you say so" 'Chip remarked with a grin of his own. His eyes gaining a more  defined Diamond shape'
