"Oh Chip, I'm so glad you're alright," Blue said in relief, squishing chip against her cheek.

"Well, I'm alive anyway," Chip said with a tired groan, standing uneasily in Blue's hand.

Chip's glowing diamond eyes briefly widened before turning into exclamation points as he heard thrusters firing into the air, swiftly being tackled out of Blue's hand by Aurora.

"Jesus crispy," Chip wheezed out with a metallic hiss, steam flowing from his mouth as Aurora smothered him.

"I can't believe that's the asshole you had stuck in your head!" Aurora claimed in shock as she bear hugged her partner.

"Yeah, he's just all kinds of fun," Chip said in a muffled voice before pulling his head back.

"Your boobs make better pillows than microphones, dear," Chip said bluntly, resting his head on Aurora's chest, his eyes flickering dully.

"We don't have time for that! A rogue, vengeful Metamorin is alive and transferring himself. God knows where in the galaxy! It could be an old Metamorin factory for all we know!" Chip stated in an aggitated tone, his eyes flickering.

His leg gave out, blue sparks sputtering from it as Aurora quickly caught him.

"Hun, you're damaged, physically and knowing you, mentally," She said gently, holding her shorter partner closely.

"Were going home to rest, then you can be the big, smart brain that solves this after okay?

Chip huffed in defeat, banging his hand on the side of his head, stabilizing the glow of his eyes.

"Okay...."
