Chip began to stirr with a pained groan, the sound of static catching his attention.
As he shook his head he found a layer of static across his hud.
He clenched his eyes shut as Aurora came back online, wraping her arms around his torso.
"You okay hun?" Aurora asked drowsily, resting her chin on Chip's head.
"I-Im not S-Sure" Chip said with a glitching voice, his glow flickering irregularly.
"Well take it slow. You've had a few long days" Aurora stated with a tired chuckle.
Chip sat in slight silence, gripping his head tightly as the static began to grow louder.
Aurora fell onto the bed as Chip stood up, a dull glitched beeping sounding off from his hud.
"System irregularity Detected"
"Firewall compromised"
"Immediate action required"
"Chip!"Aurora said in alarm as she watched him stumble to the door.
She staggered out of bed. Rushing to get dressed.
Within the beach house Garnet was talking with Greg as he made himself a sandwich.
"Well it's a good thing their room is sound proof i guess" Greg said with a chuckle. Earning one from Garnet in turn.
"They have certainly grown up fast" Garnet admitted.
Garnet's attention was taken to the gem door as Chip stumbled out of it. His sweatpants and shirt being ragged.
His eyes glitched and flickered weakly as he began to malfunction.
"Chip just wait a second!" Aurora said as she rushed out of the door. Having hastily wrapped herself in her house coat.
As Aurora rushed to his side, Chip gripped onto the wall tightly, cracking the wall as a result.
"What's going on?" Garnet asked, having rushed to her son's aid as well.
"I dont know, he woke up and just started to glitch.
Steven and Pearl were the next to notice the commotion, bursting in through the front door.
"Chip!" Steven said in alarm, watching his half gem cousin tense up.
Chip's eyes began to flash and flicker violently as a robotic scream escaped him.
Both Garnet and Aurora recoiled in shock, letting go of Chip.
His only support keeping him up having vanished. He fell to the ground, his eyes flickering to black.
As he fell to the ground, the currently present individuals gathered around Chip.
Just before he hit the groundz he managed to catch himself.
"Chip! Talk to me buddy" Steven said urgently as he crouched down in front of Chip.
Slowly and stiffly Chip craned his head up towards Steven looking at him with black eyesocket.
Steven recoiled as Chip's eyes ignited into a blood red humanoid iris.
With enough force to shatter the wooden floor, Chip launched himself at Steven.
A loud *clang noise rang out, shattering the windows as a result.
