Chapter One: Mine

'Aurora found herself sitting in the living room of the Beach house, she was scrolling through social media. Trying to keep herself busy in some way'

'She stopped and looked up for a moment as her Hud beeped loudly, causing her to look to the door'

'After a moment of nothing happening she returned to scrolling through her Hud'

'Mere moments later the door burst open, causing Aurora to jump up, her eyes turning a bright orange'

'She had froze as she had her great sword half pulled from her gemstone'

"The Chip has fallen ill" 'Peridot stated in a clearly unamused tone as she and Stretch helped Chip walk in through the doorway'

'Aurora returned her weapon into her gemstone before walking over to Chip, crouching onto her knee's'

'Before she moved her hand towards Chip, Aurora hesitated. With her eyes flickering a dull pink color'

'As she softly hooked Chip's chin with her index finger, making him look up to her weakly'

'With a disoriented shake of his head Chip's left eye flickered weakly before he seemed to focus, a weak smile crossing his face'

"Hey love. How're you feeling?" 'Chip asked weakly with his voice glitching, as if it was being run through a light staticky filter'

'The pink glow in Aurora's eyes faded as her expression softened, gently placing her hand on the left side of Chip's face'

"I'll handle him from here" 'Aurora said softly as she picked Chip up bridal style'

'Before either gem could respond Aurora began walking to the gem door'

"What did you do exactly?" 'Aurora asked in concern as she activated the gem door, her gemstone glowing momentarily'

"Oh y'know. Drank an experimental serum..." 'Chip said hesitantly, earning a "ohh" of realization from her'

'Aurora sat Chip down on the bed within their room, sitting down next to him before softly laying him down, resting his head on her lap'

"So you drank a calming serum too?" 'Aurora asked with a half hearted chuckle, earning a sluggish nod from Chip'

"Y-Yeah...I'm not good with these sorts of feelings like you are" 'Chip said with a shudder, causing Aurora to gently start playing with his hair'

"Well...im sorry if i made you than uncomfortable" 'Aurora said meekly, guilt creeping into her voice'

'Before she could stop him, Chip forced himself to sit up, glaring daggers at his girlfriend'

"You could NEVER make me uncomfortable Aurora" 'Chip said sternly. Earning a mild look of surprise from the much taller woman'

'Before she could react, Chip pulled her down to his height so they would be at eye level, gripping the collar of her shirt to do so'

"I love you. More than anything in this galaxy, or any others. Never think for a SINGLE SECOND, that you could make me uncomfortable" 'Chip said as his eye turned a dull pink color, his fangs visibly doing the same'

"B-But i-"

"Yes you were the one to come on to me. Because you're naturally frisky. That dosent matter too me, you managed to cheer me up when I needed to be" 'Chip said in a softer tone of voice, cutting Aurora off'

'As she seemed to be in a daze Chip placed a small kiss on Aurora's lips, snapping her out of her zoned out state'

"Besides. I never said I didn't like it" 'Chip said as he let go of Aurora, her glow seeming to become a neon pink near instantly'

'As she let out a string of high pitched beeps Aurora practically tackled Chip to the bed, kissing him deeply as she did so'

'After pulling back from the kiss Aurora placed her forehead against Chip's as she held him tightly, a wide and giddy smile having crossed her face'

"That came out if nowhere." 'Chip said with a weak cough as Aurora increased her hold on him, her eyes closed'

"I like it when you're assertive~" 'Aurora whispered sweetly as she opened her eyes, which seemed to have formed into glowing pink hearts'

"Love. Like I said, there is a time and place" 'Chip said with a small chuckle, earning one from Aurora herself'

"You're right. Which is why" 'Aurora said as she tightened her grip on Chip, pulling him into a tight hug as she rested her chin atop his head'

"I'm going to be taking care of you until you get better. Got it shithead?" 'Aurora asked in sweet tone as her eyes reformed into pink glowing irises'

'Chip let out a few muffled beeps, not being able to properly respond due to the position he was in'

"No more drinking untested serums! I'll get Peridot to make us some more of the one she gave me" 'Aurora said reassuringly as she pulled a blanket over both Chip and herself'

'Chip sat still for a moment before he tried to escape Aurora's hold, earning a whine from her'

"Mine" 'Aurora stated simply as she tightened her grip on him further'
