Mated To You

"So you finally got him to be with you?" I heard  a voice.

I was sitting in one of the empty classrooms in our building. Enjoying making Ark suffer. I am not a saint to keep my promise. Ark needs to be punished for trying to gain Kong's affection. Even if it was only superficial.

Kong would never find. Apparently, this side of the building was considered to be haunted. And why not? Especially when it's inhabited by the most devious demons. I did reveal my part reality to Kong. And eventually he will know the demon that takes the other half of me.

"I did make a bet, didn't I?" I smirked knowing exactly what I was going to gain. Yes, it was a bet to get him. A bet where everyone thought that Kong will not accept me as his mate. But I will never let that happen. Even if that means I have to lock him up.

"You did, but don't forget if you hurt him I will personally hunt you down." Somehow those words bothered me. No one is allowed to worry about him other than me. Kong belongs to me.

"You should watch your words. I don't care if you are my friend's mate." My voice held venom.

"Then keep Kong happy. Don't let him see the devil you are." This Terry's voice held warning. Terry knew us. After all it was his generations who hunted us. But ironically this time the hunter became the prey. Prey to the fate. He became a mate to my friend. But I have to admit that Terry unlike other hunters never threatened us, until now.

"Are you threatening me?"

"I am not. I just care deeply for Kong. He is like my little brother. And you know how I feel about my loved ones. I don't care who you hurt but not him or Seb." Terry always had a soft spot for his loved ones. Although it's irritating to see those feelings, i can agree the need to protect. I feel that with Kong.

"He is mine. And I will take care of him. Always. "

"It's good to hear that but first you have to look into this,"  I saw Key walk up with some files. Others closely following.

"What are these?"
"There has been some cases coming up where every single night we are finding bodies mangled, devoid of a heart and drained out of blood." Mark said.

"Do we have a vampire in the city?" Terry asked but that didn't seem right. Even when the bodies where devoid of blood, they didn't have bite marks on them.

"No, we investigated that before bringing this to you. Even asked your brother," Ted said. I hated the fact that he was in the city.

"When is he leaving?" I asked them.

"He insist on meeting your mate." My brother is an annoying shit who has caused me enough troubles.

"Never" I growled.

"Before we get into your brother situation, do you want to look into this?" Win asked as he pulled Terry into his arms. Unlike few minutes Terry completely shed off his threatening demeanor and changed into a smiling idiot. Fuck this shit. I miss Kong.

"Let's look into this once I get back from my date." I smiled as I remembered how I asked Kong to go out with me. I am gonna take him out for dinner.

"Sure." I saw smiling faces around me. They knew better. Kong being my mate made him special. Very special.
