Kayley's POV-

It was about 6pm on a saturday evening and it was game night. Every Saturday my family and our family friends get together and play games. It so simple yet so fun. My best friend Josh and I are the same age and his little sister and my little sister are the same age as well. Our parents and good friends and so it just makes for a lot of fun.

*** Pause real quick here's the key***

K- Kayley

KM- Kayley's mom

KD- Kayley's dad

KS- Kayley's sister

J- Josh

JM- Josh's mom

JD- Josh's dad

JS- Josh's sister

KM- Kayley can you go get the door please

K- yeah

I walked over to the door and opened it to reveal Josh and his family.

CS- KAYLEYYYY

she said as she ran for a hug

K- hey sweet girl

I said as I hugged her back. I gave his parent's a quick hug after setting his sister down. After they all left to go to the kitchen it was just me a Josh left. Josh was my best friend hands down. I love him to the moon and back. I couldn't help but want him to be mine, to call him mine but at the moment we were just two best friends who both had feelings for eachother but didn't know how or where start because we were to afraid to ruin our friendship. 

Once they were clear out of site I ran into Josh's arms and put my head in his neck.

C- hey babe

he said while wrapping his arms around me. I hate when he calls me that because the title means nothing it just makes people think something.

K- hi

J- what's wrong

K- nothing just a little tired

J- are you sure

K- I'm positive bubba

J- pinky promise

he said while we both let go

K- pinky promise

I said while interlocking our pinkies. We both walked into the kitchen and ate some of the finger foods that my mom had prepared. Once we had all finished eating, we went into the living room and sat around the coffee table. Josh was in the bathroom and him and I had already decided to be partners so I sat down in spot where there was enough space for the both of us. We set the game up and a few moments later he came back from the bathroom. I thought he was going to sit next me but he sat behind me. He put his legs around mine and rested his hands on my thighs. Occasionally moving his hands up and wrapping them around my neck. We were playing monopoly which we never finished. He wanted to move our piece so he would leave his arm dangling in front of my chest while his other hand was interlocked with mine which sent chills up my spine and butterflies into my stomach. After he moved our piece he leaned forward a little and whispered in my ear.

J- what's the next move babygirl

our faces were inches apart until we both moved so our parents wouldn't see. All I wanted to do was smash my lips on his. But it wasn't possible... at least not right now.
