Today was the day. It was Josh's 20th birthday. I am so freaking excited it is hard to contain it. Josh was a little sad that he couldn't go home to Canada for his birthday but I told him everything would work out in the end. That being said I've arranged for his family to come out to LA. We have been working on it for awhile and they flew out yesterday and are currently at a hotel. They are going to come to the house to surprise him and I can't wait. It was currently around 8 am and I finished wrapping his gifts and I am now cooking him breakfast. I was not going to let this man eat cereal on his birthday. Once I was done making his breakfast I set it out on the table and then ran upstairs to go wake him up. Normally I let him sleep but I'm not going to let him sleep his 20th birthday away. Now that I think about it I'm not going to let him do a lot of things. I opened the door quietly making sure not to wake him up. This morning when I first woke up I set out 20 balloons with different reasons I love him and a picture of us. I really wasn't hard because I love so many things about him. When I was walking to the bed I made sure that I didn't bump into anything and mess it up. I made it to the bed and crawled back in it and got under the covers and faced Josh. I've always thought he looked so damn cute when he slept. I just admired him for a little bit and then slowly started kissing his face to wake him up.I always like when he did this to me but if he didn't like I could always just tell him to go back to sleep and then try a different approach. His eyes slowly started to flutter open and he just smiled at me.
A- Good morning bubba!!
J- good morning baby girl. You are very excited this morning eh baby
A- Well yes because it's your 20th birthday and I'm just so excited for you!!
J- Well thank you baby and what do you say we start the day off right with a kiss.
A- fine by me
We both lean in and connect our lips for a soft and gentle kiss. When we were finished with that Josh kissed my forehead and looked around.
J- Baby what is this
A- welllll it is 20 balloons with 20 reasons why I love you and 20 of my favorite pictures of us
J- oh my gosh
I could see the tears in eyes
A- Aww bubby don't cry
J- This must've taken you so long
A- It really didn't because there are so many reason I love you it was just hard to pick out which ones to write down.
He hugged my super tight and we stayed like that for a little bit. And then I suddenly remembered that his breakfast was sitting on the table.
A- Hey I have another surprise for you down stairs
J- You didn't have to do all this
A- But I did
We both got up and went downstairs.
J- You cooked me breakfast. You know how much I love it when you cook
A- I figured I would cook your favorite breakfast
Me and Josh both ate and just enjoyed our time together before everything got crazy. I told Josh to get ready as I was already ready. When he went upstairs I texted Josh's mom to head on over. While he got ready I tidied up from breakfast.

Josh comes down the stairs looking as handsome as usual and with bright smile on his face.
A- Why are you so smiley
I say while giggling
J- I'm just so happy because you've done so many great things for me and I just am so in love with you. Like you are literally bouncing off the walls for my birthday
A- Well I'm not done with the surprises yet birthday boy
I say while walking over to the couch and sitting in his lap.
J-Ansley I told you know surprises
A- hey I don't like that name
J- I'm sorry. baby girl I told you know surprises
A- I'm sorry I couldn't help myself
I say while throwing my head into his neck. We just sat in each other embrace for a few moments until we heard the door bell ring.
A- I think you should get that
I say while jumping up and pulling out my phone and recording his reaction
J- ok
We walk to the door and he opens it and his jaw drops.
J- OH MY- what are you guys doing here!?!?!
He say while he pulls them all in for hugs
JM- well I think you should ask ansley that one
J- Ansley you have some explaining to do
A- Well I remember you telling me how sad you were that you couldn't go home for your birthday and so I reached out to your mom and we arranged for them to come out here for a week
He let's go of his family and comes over to me and hugs me super tight
J- thank you thank you thank you thank you
A- I would do anything for you
J- I love you so fucking much
A- I love you more
J- That's not possible
A- oh I'm sure it is
The rest of the day was spent celebrating Josh with his family and friends and let me tell you I've never been more in love with a man in my entire life.
