it was a friday night. pretty much every high schooler on a friday night is at a party. it was my senior year. that's what everyone told me. i have never really been the partying type but somehow all of my friends convinced me to go to this party. it was primarily josh. i love josh with my whole heart and he kept asking me and asking me to go to this party with him. and because i love him so much i finally gave in. i was a little scared to be honest. just the thought of a bunch of high schooler's at someone's house with drinks and hormones freaks me out. josh came over after school so we could hang out before we had to leave for the party. when i asked my parents if i could go, the whole time i was hoping the would say no. but they said it would be good for me to have some fun. i hated them for that. the party started at 8 and it's 6:30. i decided to go ahead and start getting ready while josh naps. i did some very light makeup and put some loose curls in my hair. i don't know why it took me so long but it did. it's now about 7:30 and josh just woke up. i decided to let him pick out what i'm going to wear and he decided on this:

i put the dress on and found some heels that looked good with it.
t- why do i have to be so dressed up? like why can't i wear sweats
i whined as i looked at myself in the mirror
j- i don't know baby. your not the only one going to be dressed up, i'm sure all of your other friends will be too. and plus you look hot
he said while wrapping his arms around my waist
t- well thanks bu-
j- but what
t- butttt i'm not so sure about this
j- you'll be ok. i'll be by your side the whole time.
he says while spinning me around to face him

i say still a little unsure
he leans down slowly and places a slow soft kiss on my lips.
t- thank you for that but i would still much rather stay here in my pj's and watch netflix all night
