"Soh!" Raeyeon called, waving her hand to sit beside her.
As the Covid-19 situation in Korea starts to die down, schools were inviting students to come back for physical class, though there were still some that were in the form of Hybrid classes.
I ran up to Raeyeon and took the seat beside her.
"Where's Ren?" I asked her.
"He tested positive yesterday, unfortunately. So he can't come to physical class for the next two weeks or so," Raeyeon shares - and I wonder why Ren told Raeyeon personally and not in the group chat.
I brush it off anyway.
"Hey, when were you gonna tell me that Skz was practicing in Kingdom?" I ask, eyebrow raised playfully.
"Ohh. I guess they already published the article~" she continues. "Well, I'm definitely not ready for Kingdom. I watched Road to Kingdom," Raeyeon says. "And the level of intensity... WHOO. How did you survive that?" she asks.
"I don't know either," I reply exasperatedly, shoulder shrugging. "Luck maybe?" I guess.
She gasps. "Imagine the intensity for Kingdom," Raeyeon states and I regret imagining it.
"I think it's time for me to clear out my laptop. Too many demos and drafts," I say, joking about my laptop storage space.
"Should start carrying around a desktop now," the girl beside me joins along as her hands gesture to holding a desktop.
The two of us burst out in fits of laughter as we joked about Kingdom.
"You should sleep as much as you can now. There'll be literally NO time to rest when the show starts. Everything is back to back to back," I advise.
"Noted. Will take a nap later after class," Raeyeon acknowledges jokingly.
After a couple more laughs, Rayon sticks a hand towards me.
"May the best producer win," she wishes.
My jaw drops under my mask, letting out a scoff at the girl's words. "Sure, may the best producer win," I reply, taking her hand in mine.
"Okay! Let's get to work! We'll be going over the pieces from the Baroque and Classical period for your upcoming midterm assessment," the prof standing t the front of class says, as he throws a file onto the desk.
"Oh shit, I haven't studied yet," Raeyeon curses quietly.
"Neither have I. I've been so busy with Breaking Dawn, I feel like I never have the time to rest," I whine, running a hand through my hair frustratedly.
