"Do you have your meds?" I asked, rushing across the houses, making a final check around it.

"Yeah, they're in my bag," Jae says, slinging his bag around his shoulder.

"All of them?" I asked.

"Yes, all of them," Jae replies, slipping on his shoes.

"Remember to take them every-" I say, tying my laces.

"Soh, I know. I'm fine," Jae says, holding onto my shoulder. "You don't have to keep doing this everytime I go out," he continues.

"I just, want to make up for the time where I was so focused with D.D.D," I say and Jae makes me turn to him.

"Soh, you don't have to make up for anything. You were busy, it was understandable. Either way I had Brian with me," Jae says.

Although Jae puts it like that, I don't think I can ever let it go. Jae has always taken care of me, even during his trainee days when he came home exhausted and sweaty. Yet, he still took care of me; he even tutored me when midterms were near.

But when he was in need of help, I wasn't there for him.

This is something I cannot let slip past.

I stare up at Jae and shake out of his grip. "I'll be done by around 7pm today. I'll probably eat at the company so don't wait for me to eat," I say, slinging my bag around my shoulder.

Jae nods and hums as he leaves the apartment. I follow behind him as I lock the door. We head down together and part with a long goodbye. I give him a tight hug before heading to the company. I reach the studio and open it to see Juyeon and Sangyeon inside.

"You two are early today," I point out, putting my bag down at the leg of the table.

"Just excited to record Monster," Sangyeon says smiling.

I raised a eyebrow, cautious. "You didn't bring Chucky here, did you?" I asked.

"No? Why would we?" Juyeon asks back and I nod my head.

"I'm going to set up the booth now. Stay right- here," I said, before leaving the studio.

With an uneasy heart, I opened the door to the booth. I reached in for the light switch first, quickly retracting my hand back after. I poked my head in and didn't see anything. Maybe I was just paranoid. With the uneasiness washed over, I set up the mic. After that, I turned around to get the headphones when I saw Annabelle sitting on top of the headphone box.
