For centuries a proud race ruled the earth. A race unlike anything the earth has seen before or since. They were the dinosaurs.
These large reptiles dominated the earth in a way humans can only imagine. We could know a lot about the dinosaurs, but we could also know very little.
For starters, herbivorous and carnivorous dinosaurs never battled each other as we previously thought. They actually existed as equals as carnivores hunted other animals
They also shared a special bond with other species of their family regardless of species
Next herbivore and carnivores lived together in herds like some animals. Some even have symbiotic relationships with others like modern animals today, some dinosaurs even grow up in the same herd and see one another as siblings
But one main thing was that all dinosaurs field under a great dinosaur king who ruled all dinosaur king showing traits of leadership and vision for the future
Unfortunately a great meteor was approaching putting all dinosaurs at risk and the previous king died of a terrible illness
To the dinosaurs luck, a man from the future named ancient came to save al dinosaur kind and the dinosaurs crowned him the next king
But he's been gone for the last 20 years
Many dinosaurs still hope the king will return...but most of the race has lost hope. All but one. A young naive wisecracking yet determined and strong iguanodon named aladar
We are introduced to Aladar as he charges through the forest as he is upset that his herd refuses to listen to him and how he had faith in a king they lost hope in

Lately aladar has been having dreams that the asteroid would still be coming and the dinosaur king would return to save all the dinosaurs of the world. Many dinosaurs have given up, but aladar still has his hope
Aladar: I'm gonna find the dinosaur king zini. He's out there. I know it!
Zini: we're gonna find the dinosaur king! I know it too!
Little did the lemur know was that he leapt off a high hanging branch and fell into a footprint of his saurian cousin filled with water. He spits some out of his mouth and shake off his fur and continues to follow aladar
Zini; what do a bunch of scales lipless jungle gulping egg sucking lizards know anyway Huh?! I say LET EM FRY!!!
Aladar: zini! Enough!
That makes zini stop and cower in fear as aladar returns his gaze to the stars
Zini: hehe...sorry
