26. They don't know

Two months, Two days later.....

"HYUNG!! HYUUUNGG!!! HYUNG!!" Taehyung thundered down the stairs and grabbed Jeongguk's wrist and dragged him behind him, making Jeongguk stumble behind him after barely managing to place his laptop on the couch carefully.

"What, what, what?! What's wrong?!" Jeongguk asked, but he supposed Taehyung was too excited about whatever it was to answer him.

The only sound that greeted him back was the harsh pitter-patter of the rain that had started literally out of the blue. One second, there were white clouds against the blue sky and the other second, black clouds occupied and it just started pouring.

He realized what Taehyung was doing when he threw the terrace door open and stepped out with Jeongguk's wrist still in his hold. 

Jeongguk, however, used his strength to pull his wrist away and stand inside, away from the rain. "What are you doing?! You'll get drenched!!" he exclaimed, but Taehyung grinned widely at him as if that was exactly what he was trying to do.

"That's the point!! What's the use of it raining if you don't get drenched in it?? You won't get the chance to have fun in the rain again and again like this, hyung!!" he exclaimed and stepped forward. "Just come," without a warning, he grabbed Jeongguk's wrist once again and yanked him into the rain.

"But it's pouring!!" Jeongguk exclaimed, standing stiff like a rock while the rain did its job in seconds, leaving him drenched to his bone and shivering.

Taehyung chuckled and threw his head back, yelling a loud "SO WHAATTT!!!" to the sky.

Jeongguk watched as he ran back in and while standing on the doormat right inside the door, he towelled his hands dry and pressed play on a playlist that he had prepared already.

Jeongguk wondered just how much effort Taehyung put into arranging for it, especially since the rain had been sudden, before dragging Jeongguk upstairs to have fun, seeing as there was also a speaker on the table a few feet away from the door, away from the water droplets drizzling in.

Hesitantly, he held his arms out and opened his palms skyward, letting the rain patter his palms hard. He threw his head back and closed his eyes, letting the water slam onto his face as well.

A slow and pleasant instrumental started and he didn't open his eyes until he heard his husband singing along with the song that started.

People say we shouldn't be together
Too young to know about forever
But I say they don't know

Jeongguk brought his hands down and watched his husband groove to the song while pointing hands at him as if he were singing the song to him.

'Cause this love is only getting stronger...

Taehyung made a spin and held his arm out towards Jeongguk longingly, but before Jeongguk could do anything about it, he retracted it and placed it on his heart, cupping his chest gracefully.

So I don't wanna wait any longer...

How come he never knew his husband was this good at dancing?

I just wanna tell the world that you're mine, boy!!

Jeongguk laughed at how Taehyung yelled the whole line for the entire sky to hear and improvised the last word when the singers of the song clearly sang 'girl' in the background.

They don't know about the things we do!!

True, Jeongguk grinned, no one knew the things they did, with Jimin being an exception, who somehow even knew when Jeongguk took a shit (Jeongguk decided not to question it anymore).
