Two weeks, Two days, Two hours, Two minutes, Two seconds later.....

Taehyung sighed, looking at the different suits, wine bottles, watches, perfumes, bags, jewellery and other items that Jeongguk had gifted his parents in the span of the past two weeks.

Except for the ones that were sent for him and his sister, which the two of them used happily, the rest of them lay abandoned in one of the guest rooms that Hyungsik adamantly refused to step foot into.

As for Dahyun, Taehyung did find her sneaking into the room a couple of times, maybe to admire the gifts and cards that Jeongguk sent them every night, but he didn't find it in him to confront her. Not when she was finally finding it in her to defy her husband and support Jeongguk and Taehyung's relationship a little.

He let out another sigh as he played with all the cards that his husband had sent. Every single one of them made him cringe horribly, but he still smiled proudly, appreciating his husband's hard work and effort in trying to get him back using ways that he wasn't used to.

"You know exactly what would happen to the earth if the sun disappeared out of the blue, right? Please don't take my sun away from me."

"It's like I'm flying around in the sky with nothing to help me ground me back down. Please give me my anchor before I get lost."

"Your son is my sun and I'm his moon. He is the one who makes me shine so bright in the night sky. Please don't take my light away."

"I love him more than my own life. I promise I will make sure nothing ever happens to him ever again. Please trust me one last time and send your son home."

"Don't you feel bad making me cry like a kid when I'm gonna be 30 in a couple of years? Please give my husband back to me before I lose my sanity."

"Dohyeon says hi. He wants to see his current dads together, apparently. Please send his dad home."

Taehyung chuckled and put the cards back on the bed where the rest of the items were. He had half a mind to take the cards to his own room and treasure them for the rest of his life, but he also wanted to let the cards be right where they were so that his parents could read them if and when they decided to enter the room and acknowledge Jeongguk's efforts.

Of course, the two of them kept meeting the entire time whenever they could, but it was becoming increasingly hard for Taehyung to come up with lame excuses for their meetups.

He had a feeling his father could see right through his excuses and somehow was still letting him go, but he couldn't be too sure.

Why else would they not have confiscated his phone yet despite him talking to Jeongguk on phone, right in front of them, more than a couple of times?

He just had a feeling his parents were doing all of this just to teach Jeongguk a lesson. Still, he wished they gave in sooner and let him go back home. To his family.

He didn't want his best friend to suffer much either. Of course, Jimin never talked about it, but it was clear as crystal that he and Jeongyeon weren't together anymore. He hoped Jimin looked past what happened and accepted her back because as far as Jeongyeon was concerned, she was a nice human being and a great girlfriend to Jimin.

With yet another sigh, he left the room and walked to the couch in the living room just in time for the daily gift-delivery doorbell to ring.

However, this time, there was no gift. Instead, it was the gifter himself. A small gasp left his mouth and before he could even realize it, his lips pulled up into a huge grin.
