Waking up in Jeongguk's arms wasn't something Taehyung thought he would experience at least until the first five years of their married life ended.
Yet, here he was, waking up in his arms, facing his peaceful face, not even twenty days after their wedding.
He smiled to himself, thinking of the previous night. He didn't expect it, but his husband was quite the monster in bed and he liked it.
Hell, he loved it like crazy.
He knew he was a goner when Jeongguk's lips touched his the previous night, but he now knew he became as good as Romeo. How could someone fall so hard for someone so fast?! This wasn't supposed to be possible. He was supposed to hate his husband.
He frowned, bringing his racing thoughts to a screeching stop. He wasn't 'supposed' to hate his husband. He just did because of his annoying behaviour.
But who cared? He certainly didn't.
He was starting to fall in love with Jeongguk at the moment and nothing else mattered.
He brought his hand up and ran his thumb over his husband's lower lip. It made the hair on the back of his neck stand up, but he carried on with marvelling his husband's face. He ran his fingers against Jeongguk's rough, hairy chin back and forth, wondering how a designer beard could turn him on so bad.
Hoping Jeongguk wouldn't wake up just yet, he leaned forward and rubbed his smooth cheek against Jeongguk's hairy one. And right at that moment, he decided that he would grow a beard too. One just like his husband's.
"What are you doing, you weird human being?" he heard Jeongguk's raspy voice and he lost himself again. Was this how hot Jeongguk sounded right after waking up from his sleep? 'It's a shame I missed it all these days,' he thought.
"I'm marvelling a masterpiece," he answered, making Jeongguk scoff. "Wrap it up fast. I need to get going," Jeongguk said and Taehyung rolled his eyes. "Can't you be romantic at least once in your life?" he asked.
Jeongguk chuckled. "I don't do romantic," he said.
"Yeah, I can see that. You liked me and without trying romantic ways to make me fall for you, you went to my father and bulldozed your way into my life," Taehyung commented with a small smile playing on his lips.
"I-"
Taehyung chuckled at his husband's dumbfoundedness and threw the covers off of him, only to gasp and pull them back when the cold air hit places it wasn't supposed to hit.
"Why the fuck am I so naked?!" he whispered incredulously at Jeongguk, who threw his head back and laughed heartily. "We had sex last night, Taehyung, I don't know how you expected to find yourself in the morning," he said.
Taehyung stared at him open-mouthed. "Who are you and what have you done to my stuck up husband?!" he asked.
Jeongguk rolled his eyes, but his lips remained pulled up in a smirk. "Stuck up, huh?" he asked.
"I mean-"
"I was stuck up because of a certain pain in my ass," Jeongguk teased.
It took Taehyung a few seconds to realize that his husband was referring to him. He shoved Jeongguk away playfully and got off the bed, walking to the washroom in all of his naked glory with his chest puffed up.
He didn't leave the door locked. He silently took a couple of painkillers using the tap water and turned the hot water on for a shower.
While the water heated up, he stood in front of the mirror and began to examine each purple bruise that sat on the expanse of his throat and chest proudly. He smirked at them. His husband sure was a beast in bed.
